"Beware of this company. S & S Southwestern Mngmt managed our property for several years untill 2022. I waited to cool down before writing a review; it's taken 2 yrs. The list of things that went wrong is long. A few of the most frustrating: 1) being advised that there was a complaint from the HOA about paint and compliance and asking us if we wanted a paint quote. Yes of course; we got a quote to paint the whole house and we held off as something just didn't seem right. We are from Canada, so when we arrived in Arizona, I spoke to the HOA/Compliance people and found out that all that was required was to re-stain the front door and repaint a small section of the front of the house. I did it myself for less than $ 200 which included stain, paint, brushes, etc. 2) periodic inspections reports reported the house in a favorable condition which was quite different from what we found 3) when we drove down from Canada expecting vacant possession of a clean house, in good condition, we found it was filthy, with a substantial amount of trash in the house and back yard. When we called S &S to resolve the issues and get help with hiring cleaning staff, etc, we got none. This company is great on selling themselves and they did successfully collect the rent each month. If your expectations are a little higher than that, our opinion is that you continue your search, elsewhere."
