"I've been a patient at the Village Eye Care for almost 9 years now and every year for my annual, the staff and overall experience is always amazing. I'd been seeing Dr. Baird for many years, but had to see another doctor due to Baird taking over their Dry Eye clinic. I was a little wary at first seeing someone new, however Dr. Moore was absolutely amazing. She was very kind, knowledgeable, professional and personable. I had wanted to get my first pair of glasses and had absolutely no idea what I wanted or what the heck would look good on my face. All of the opticians were very knowledgeable and gave me their honest thoughts on what looked good and what didn't. Almost the whole staff was playing a sort of game where they would vote about which frames they liked better on me, and it ultimately helped me make the decision on my first pair. I I LOVE them and seriously could not have made the choice without their help. All in all a great experience and the kind that seems like I would not get anywhere else."

"This was one of my first experiences with an optometrist and it was incredible! I haven’t ever worn glasses before but I noticed some headaches after long hours of studying so I went and visited Dr. Baird and he was able to help me figure out what was going on and now it’s much easier to study. I did want to mention how great their staff was. I had lots of help picking out some frames and it was pretty simple and easy altogether! I think they utilize your time well for the most part, paper work and a little waiting is usually typical for any doctor’s office you go to. I highly recommend the Village Eye care and my family will continue to go there in the future!"

"We’ve been seeing Dr. Baird for years, however, since his office moved, the wait time has been terrible. There was only one provider the day we came for our exams and it was over an hour wait past our appointment times. Dr. Baird used to do both boys’ exams together, but since the move, each child waits separately so it was 2.5 hours total for two eye exams. I understand workforce challenges, but our time is valuable as well. A practice should not schedule more patients than their provider(s) can see in a reasonable amount of time. We returned for a follow up on contact lens fittings & again, it was a hour wait to see the same provider working alone. Now that Dr. Baird is no longer seeing regular exams & we’ve experienced the same service issues as other patients, sadly, we will be searching for a new practice."

"My family has seen Dr Baird for several years and we always enjoy our visits to his office. The office is welcoming and comfortable and the people are friendly and helpful. We were disappointed to hear that Dr Baird is no longer able to see many of his patients due to his growing clientele at West Valley Dry Eye. Per his recommendation, we scheduled my son with Dr Moore instead. She was equally fantastic and we received the same great care we’ve come to expect at The Village Eye Care. The doctor and techs were great and the opticians helped my son find the perfect pair of glasses - a great experience all around!"
