We've been moving in and out of friends and family's places for 4 months and Sky Island gave us the opportunity to get stable again and get back on our feet. It's been difficult. They gave us the breathing room we needed to get our lives back. Aside from the beauty of the complex, the people are extremely friendly and the prices are unbeatable for this kind of living. "Been here for about 4 months n everyone has been awesome maintenance is very fast to fix what needs to be fixed and the pool is always clean n the grounds are greatly maintained n I love the fact of the grass n office Ladies are always fast to respond also.... it has been an amazing experience so far n hope it continues"

"I can’t say enough good things about Sky Island Apartments (formerly Sierra Charles Apartments) and the management staff- but I can try! I lived here for a few months from winter to spring and it was great. The owners and management changed right before I left. The former staff (Alix) and new staff Taylor were great and accommodating even after I moved out. If you’re looking for a comfy place to stay that is reasonable on rent and distance to the base, Sierra Charles is a great option. I stayed in their furnished executive apartment on the top floor with all utilities included. It was not fancy but it was clean and had everything I needed while I was there. The wifi was essential for me and worked perfectly while I worked from home. Cable was also included. The grounds are very well maintained, clean and landscaped regularly. The pool and playground area are gated which is good. The stairs were kind of scary and some steps were chipped but we’re getting repaired while I was there so it can only get better. It is gated with card/key access although on the gates was always open for some reason. There were two laundry rooms that were very convenient and the staff was kind enough to trade me cash for coins on more than one occasion. The neighbors were quiet and courteous. The apartments are in a residential area good for walking and also around the corner from a park. My apartment had a beautiful view of the mountains. I didn’t have a car but Sierra Charles had plenty of parking if I needed it. I definitely recommend Sierra Charles. Kudos to the entire staff for making this a great place to live!"
