Reviews of Lantana Apartment Homes
"My time at Lantana apt was great. From the Manager to the office team and even the head maintenance man. All encounters and services were top tier. Apartment was very good to me and can’t thank the Lantana group for all the help!"
"Lantana Apartments makes me feel at home. The location is very convenient located to freeway, UofA, I am on the ground floor, its beautiful to see the palm trees and the safety feeling. The landscaping team's great and the grass is always greener! It's a minimal view of a house to oversee. The management has been very friendly and understandable about the issues we may have."
"I have had a terrible experience with management. From the very beginning, they have been deceptive and phony. To start with, if you have emotional support animals, they require you to have their form filled out by your doctor. A note is not enough and this makes it harder for disabled people since it can take up to a month for a doctor to get the filled out form back to you. On my move in date, they informed me that the entire apartment had carpet even though I made it clear from the beginning I was looking for an apartment with minimal carpet. I also confirmed with them several times about that before my move in date. My mom flew out to help me move and had to move her departure for another date because they ended up moving me into a different unit since I was not going to move into that apartment. They also said that internet was included only to find out several weeks after I moved in that it wasn't. The interesting part about that was that I did have working internet but it was malfunctioning so I called them and found out that it wasn't through them. I was also using the modem that came with the unit. Their maintenance request process is frustrating too and misleading since they tell you they will contact you but they don't. One of their maintenance workers is also very rude. They showed up at my door and I wasn't home because I was never made aware they even saw my request to begin with. One of my checks went missing from the drop box and I had to cancel the check and I was late for rent that month. They said they have no idea why they never received it. A month ago Daniela was telling me that I was a good tenant and they would transfer me to a new unit when one became available. I ended up being late for rent this month because my autopay ended on February 1st and the rent is not processed until the 2nd. Mind you, they do not renew or transfer if someone has been late in the past six months. Daniela said she would talk to corporate and see if they can overlook that since I did intend to pay for rent on the 1st and I spoke to her around February 6th. She even said they were going to credit me the late fee on my rent for March. I called them today, February 21st, wondering if they ever contacted corporate since I move out on March 31st. They didn't and they said that I wasn't eligible for renewal or transfer. They told me to contact corporate and that they would email them as well. I called them several times and was not able to reach anyone until a few hours later. The person I spoke to told me that they were not going to renew and to not contact anyone unless it's through email. I went to the office to see what was going on since I am still living here until March 31st. They had closed for the day and the manager was hiding in the office and walked away when she saw me. They then sent security to my door and had me sign a document saying that I wouldn't contact anyone except corporate and only through email. They said if I walked into the office they would evict me and get a restraining order. I NEVER verbally or physically threatened them with violence of any kind. The only interactions I've had with them that were unpleasant were the ones that I mentioned and I was visibly upset but I never did or said anything that would have made them escalate things to this extent. They record all of our interactions over the phone and if you were to hear them, there is absolutely nothing to indicate that they were in danger in any way. This reaction from management is extremely bizarre and extreme. They're extremely fake and will lie to get money out of you. Don't move here. I have yet to move out and go through the process of moving out and I wonder how that is going to work since I am not allowed to walk into their office. I will be contacting the housing department because this situation is appalling. Move anywhere else."
"Lived here for a year now and it has been a nice experience. The area is full of walking distance conveniences and is 10 minutes from the UoA. In addition, the military base is only 15 minutes away. Staff is warm and welcoming, I haven’t experienced any maintenance issues, which is a plus! There is a nice pool that I haven’t been to yet, but was recently renovated and looks great! Also a decent tennis/basketball court and playground area that isn’t overcrowded. The only real concern is there is no surveillance cameras so be sure to lock up your car doors just for personal security. Tucson in general is known for car break-ins. Other than that though the apartment complex is great and I would highly recommend living here if you are a UoA student, military member, or a family on the west side of town looking for a more comfortable experience in the area."
"We have happily lived in Lantana for four years. There is a wide range of amenities, and the gym (with new equipment) and the pool are accessible till 10 pm. The staff are responsive, and the maintenance is fast and clean. There are six daily shuttles to/from UA with a very friendly driver. The green area on the office side is great and makes the area cool. My 619 sqft 1-bed is nicely designed and looks bigger than 619. Families with toddlers should consider the first floor because of the balconies. I recommend here to anyone especially UA students, couples, and retirees. It is quiet and well-managed."
