"I’ve only been here a short time so I’ll probably update this review over the next year. Overall my experience so far has been good. Stephanie, the manager, has been very kind and quick with her responses. The amenities are nice, the pool seems to be well kept and the barbecues are a great option to have. The grounds have been well kept during my time here, the flower bushes and palm trees around the property are very pretty. The ambiance of the whole place is cozy to me. There seems to be a diverse age range of tenants, some families with children as well. The apartment itself is again, overall good. My particular unit is somewhat dated in its appearance. I can’t say for certain but I assume my faucets, shower, and bathroom tile are from the 80s/90s. I know they have recently started updating certain units though for a slightly higher rent (modern cabinetry, appliances, etc.). To me it’s kind of charming though, but that’s personal preference. I will say that by my standards, it wasn’t cleaned super well upon moving in. It was satisfactory, but not great. It appears they painted, cleaned the carpets, and wiped down all surfaces. But as far as deeper cleaning like baseboards, bathroom ceilings, grout, drains, windows, dusting corners and A/C vents; i wasn’t satisfied. It’s not anything I can’t clean myself, but I was disappointed to see that the attention or care wasn’t there. The amount of space is great, it feels spacious even with all my furniture. Having an electric stove and dishwasher is awesome, same for the in unit washer/dryer. 5 Month Update: - I was told we had some of the dirtiest AC filters/vents in the whole complex last month when they were checked by staff, still have not been replaced/fixed. - I reported an issue with the dryer upon move in, they did not fix it properly, just had to report it again. - Paint on the patio was ruined by rain shortly after move in - looks super trashy now."
"The 5 star reviews on google are fake. I live here and I’ve had nothing but trouble since signing a yearlong lease. I moved here from out of town and this place has tainted my impression of Tucson. I’ve always paid my rent and utilities on time or early, the maintenance and management however are consistently absent or disinterested. They’ve gone through several managers and maintenance crews in the time I’ve lived here. The work is shoddy and underneath the polished exterior you’ll soon find yourself dealing with leaks, insects, mold, etc.. some tenants here are scuzzy as well. I work and make it a point not to impose on my neighbors but some people here are loud, entitled, and dirty. I constantly hear loud arguments and parties at all hours of the day and night due to a few bad apples that the inept management seems to enable. Things have been stolen off of my patio and out of my neighbors cars. The gate often malfunctions and is more of a nuisance than a crime deterrent. Do not rent here. It’s a ripoff!!!"
"I have been living at Sand Pebble Apartments since January 2017. Initially I was planning on renewing my lease and staying here long term. Over the past few months, I have reconsidered that plan. One month ago, the washer in my unit started leaking water (for the second time since January) and I reported it to the office. That was 7-31-17. I am writing this on 8-29-17 and it still has not been repaired or replaced. I have been told several times that it was going to be repaired, but this has only been delayed and I have been given one excuse after another. I have reported to the on-site manager that the unit is old and inefficient and she has told me a few times that her supervisor has decided that repairing it is cheaper than replacing it. Seems pretty short-sighted to me. Other maintenance requests I submitted were either delayed or forgotten altogether, and excuses were always made. I also have had the experience of going to the office during posted business hours only to find it closed, pretty frustrating when you have to leave work in order to get there. All in all, I was pretty content when I first moved here and now I cannot wait until this lease is up. Don't move here - they don't care about you."
