"Clean and a bit Spartan. Landscaping and vegetation a bit slack. Great Managers! Fair and Reasonable Rentals. Great maintenence. Location!Location! Location! Can't beat the location in TUS."
"My husband and I have lived here since mid August. From our first meeting we knew this was where we wanted to live. Office and maintenance staff have been accommodating above and beyond. We could not be happier. Thank you to Dorina Vista team."
"From the beginning, Dorinda Vista has been fantastic. When we were searching for a new apartment, we stumbled on DV, did a tour, and applied that night. We were in constant contact with Jen to ensure we locked down the apartment we wanted. After moving in, we had no issues. All maintenance needs were fixed in a timely manner and the maintenance man is a great guy, as well. If it was not for our jobs taking us out of state, we easily would have stayed at Dorinda Vista for many years. If we could give them more than 5 stars, we would."
"SECURITY DEPOSIT SCHEMERS! Fair warning that the property manager, Autumn Braunscheidel, is your typical sneaky property manager that is solely watching out for her best interest. She has no empathy for the tenants. We had an incident where our kitchen sink kept flooding everytime the upstairs neighbors used their restrooms. We were getting sewer water leaked all over our counters and kitchen floor. I told her this was an urgent matter because of the number of incidents it had occurred already and she made us wait the whole weekend. She didn’t care to call an emergency plumber. We had floods all weekend long! Lastly, at move out, she charged an item to our security deposit that was never there at move in. On the walk through paperwork, kitchen blinds is not listed and she still charged us for it. I tried explaining that a person cannot know if something is missing if it was never there or listed in the first place. She didn’t care to understand and kept shutting us down. If you’re tired of property managers taking advantage of those security deposits then DONT RENT HERE!"
"I’ve lived here for about a year and there’s a lot to love about this place. The rent is relatively competitive for the area (though still generally high all things considered). The apartments are roomy due to a lack of wasted space in the layout. There’s no bug problems. It’s in a nice area. And when appliances have broken, they’ve been pretty quick to replace them (even though it seems like they only have one overworked maintenance guy for the whole complex. Props to that guy, he’s great at his job). Here’s the negatives: the parking situation can sometimes be a hassle if more than one person in your apartment drives, though you’ll find that just about anywhere. A lot of the appliances are pretty old. Both our dishwasher and washing machine needed to be replaced. And the leaf blowers. Good god the leaf blowers. Twice a week on Thursday and Friday, starting as early as 7:30. Lasting as late as 9:30. Gas powered. Loud. Ridiculously loud. The apartments are horribly insulated from noise as is, so the leaf blowers will wake you up. Ear plugs don’t help. If you work a 9-5, it’s no big issue. But if you work late shifts like I do, you can get bent. They make two days out of every week miserable. And I swear it wasn’t this bad when I first moved here. It’s especially frustrating because there’s really no reason to do it on back to back days. I guess the upside is that the sidewalks are a tad cleaner but I’d rather have slightly messier landscaping than sleep deprivation. Or, I don’t know, maybe use electric leaf blowers? Fix that and you have a really great complex. But until then, it makes living here rather frustrating."
