Reviews of Tierra Vida Luxury Apartment Homes
"Very unorganized. Bathrooms in lobby are filthy, not stocked and the kitchen is packed with a bunch of supplies and boxes. Scheduled a viewing, when I showed up no one was there to show me around. Waited 20 minutes and the apartment manager Francis showed up with a big attitude “how can i help you” ….uhhhh I have a scheduled viewing? She had no idea what I was there for. Then another lady that had just signed with her for an apartment was also waiting and had some questions, Francis’ answers back to her were really vague and rushed as if she didn’t want to deal with her lol. Not a good first impression at all. I ended up leaving without viewing because I dont even want to give this place a chance when management is like that"
"Recently moved out due to relocation, had a really positive experience here. All request were answered very fast and the sky views/size of apartment was amazing. I would recommend renting from here! Frances the apartment manager is very understanding and easy to talk too, she takes care of everything, efficiently and impactful! If I come back to Tucson I would definitely rent from Tierra Vida again."
"So I'm not one to write reviews, be them good or bad, but I just really felt it necessary to write a review because it was such a nice experience and sadly customer service like this doesn't exist like it used to. I'll start by saying that I had toured 3 other apartment complexes on this day by the time I had my appointment at Tierra Vida so my patience was ran thin already, but as soon as I got to the property and entered the office a gentleman named James stood up right away to greet me and shake my hand and escorted me to the property manager. Her name was Francis and she was just as respectful and professional as her colleague was. She walked me around the entire property which is a fairly large property and was able to laugh and joke while at the same time being extremely knowledgeable about her property and the things that go on there as far as wild life in the area near by construction etc. I can say that I have never felt so at home and comfortable during a tour of a property like I have there. I have been looking at apartments for months now and this was by far my best experience they treated me great and it never felt fake or forced. Thank you again to the team at Tierra Vida please keep up the stellar display of professionalism and personalisation it really stands out above most others."
"I lived at this complex for two years and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. This is a HORRIBLE complex and I do not recommend anyone move here. The employees are unbelievably rude, and most times, they are nasty to their residents. The original manager, Delores, was so nasty I had to formally request to not interact with her and deny her entry to my apartment for my own mental health. She at one time stood outside of my apartment in the early hours of the morning and pounded nonstop on my door for over five minutes to ask me to move my car from its port when I was suffering from illness. She also had me live with a broken dishwasher that would flood my entire kitchen for nine months. She told me and my father directly that I was “too stupid” to use a dishwasher, and that maintenance had told her I was lying, despite photo evidence. When maintenance was sent, it was weeks after the request. When I’m my apartment, they were disrespectful to me and to my dog. They would fiddle with something for a few minutes and say it was fixed. The dishwasher flooded my apartment until the day I moved out. Following this, when I attempted to move out I was met by an absurd amount of fees. The current manager agreed via email I would not be prorated if I was moved out BY August 1st. However, when I did move out on July 28th, Samantha Garcia charged me a prorate of over $100 as well as attempted to lie and say I caused a great deal of damage and that my apartment “wreaked like piss,” due to my fully trained service dog, who has never peed in the apartment, living there with me. Instead of allowing me to discuss this with her, she screened mine and my parents phone calls and e-mails. She ignored me entirely and instead threatened me with collections and more fines. I placed over 15 calls and sent even more emails. When I finally went to the office, I discovered that the apartment complex had no paperwork on my residence there as well as no proof I ever caused any damage to the apartment. There was no lease, pet agreements, or any other forms signed by me, yet they continued to attempt to charge me fines based off “signed paperwork” that did not even exist. When I emailed Aimee Clark, she called a “carpet expert” and eventually dropped the pet fine but continued to hold the remaining fines, demanding a money order for $4 and refusing to return my deposit. Living here was absolute hell, and moving out was even worse. I strongly recommend avoiding this complex entirely, at least until it changes ownership again."
