"My daughter LOVES to come to school everyday! She learns so much! The teachers are so warm and welcoming (: the new directors are FANTASTIC! Thank you sunrise!!!!!!"
"My son Ethan has been in the infants area since June last year and has made great progress in his development. He loves his teachers miss Kim and miss charlyn, they always express themselves with love towards babies and have a great affection for each of them. I feel very safe leaving my son under his care. They have a large support network in that place. The director is very kind and always takes all our concerns into consideration. 100% recommended. And since the new director Destiny Adkinson is been there it has been amazing great improvements and friendly environment."
"PHOTO AND VIDEO EVIDENCE ON ARIZONA'S FAMILY AND FACEBOOK: My son had only been going for maybe a month and 1/2 almost 2 months and our experience went from rocky to terrible VERY fast. One of our worst fears came alive during their playtime outside on 09/07/23 around 8am Kyrie got hit by another kid on his head with a plastic toy so hard he bled on his shirt and onto his pants. Now, when I got there to pick him up between 230-3pm is when I found out. His teacher pulled me to the side and told me what happened, immediately I went to go look at him and noticed a gash on his head and blood on his pants. I asked why they didn’t call me? His teacher said she told the director Shamekiah, that they should call me but ultimately the director decided not to because they stopped the bleeding. I asked why he was still in his blood spattered pants when I had 2 spares in his backpack just in case of accidents? No response back, and while speaking to the director she admitted herself that was the reason she didn’t call, that it wasn’t that serious and he’s was still acting normal. After i was able to clean it myself there was a hole in my sons head. A HOLE. I asked what happened to the other child who hit him and all he got was timeout because they didn’t believe it to be malicious and I’m beyond words.. I do not understand what in anyones mind thinks it’s okay to not call the parents when something happens to their child. I stated that it was very concerning that I’m just finding out about this after picking him up and that I wanted to see the video. Of course she wasn’t able to get it for me right away and at first Shamekiah told me i could see the video and right after that her boss told me we would need a court order so there isn't even correct communication between Shamekiah and her boss Lori. Shamekiah lied and said it was a scratch I’m furious and heartbroken that he had to go through this, and no one knew except for them. I’m sad my baby was hurt and sat in blood stained pants ALL DAY. Needless to say he will never be going back here and we went to get him looked at, they glued the hole together and he is wearing a bandage to keep him from scratching it. I’m just glad it wasn’t worse. UPDATE: This facility did nothing and hid the video evidence purposely to save face and their own employees which is exactly what they will do to your kid(s). Over the past few months since the incident i've had a lot of people come forward saying they had issues with the same facility and people working there and different locations too. A witness to the incident with my son said Shamekia is very shady liar with a bad attitude. I guess its more important to take care of that instead of making sure the children there are safe, protected and taken care of like they are one of their own."
"This is such a great preschool! My daughter went to their summer program and she really loved all the activities they did and the field trips she got to go on. She will definitely be going again next summer. My youngest is in the prek program and the teachers in there are amazing, so nice and full of energy. Sunrise has a great curriculum, my son learns so much. Thank you!"
"We LOVE this Sunrise. We’ve been here since our first born was 9 months old and now with our second kiddo. We are constantly surprised with the things they come home knowing that we didn’t teach them (colors/numbers early on and then vocab words and science facts later). They both love it there and are so happy to see their teachers! We’ve had such positive experiences with all of his teachers. Mrs. Shamekia the director has been so helpful and brings such a sense of calm and control to the center. Any of our questions or concerns are always addressed quickly, there’s great communication between us and the teachers and they really are a team helping our kids to learn and grow. They even have a coffee cart for parents at drop off! Can’t recommend this facility enough!"
