"My home away from home. Love this church can't wait for next Sunday. Everybody is so nice. And the members are not judgemental like I've experienced and other churches. Everybody's welcome come in and worship. You will love it."
"I've been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my whole life. My husband is a convert of 13 years. Being members of the church has brought us much peace and many blessings. We have made lifelong and longer friends. Just going to church Feels Like Home a nice peaceful place to be. If you're looking for a place to belong a place to feel comfortable this is the place to be."
"This is a great place to worship. The church is very family-oriented and the people there are friendly. Through 2018, Sunday services begin at 9:00, 11:00, or 1:00. The 1:00 service is primarily in Spanish. Beginning in 2019 the services will start at 9:00, 10:30, and 12:00. There are also a number of activities at the church on weeknights, including volleyball and basketball. For Sunday services it's normal to dress up a little. Most men wear dress shirts, ties, and slacks or chinos. Women usually wear dresses, modest skirts, or a shirt and nice pants. But you can definitely come as you are and you will be welcome. The main portion of Sunday services is called sacrament meeting. No participation on your part is necessary. There is usually a hymn sung at the beginning, a prayer, another hymn, and then the sacrament (similar to communion in other churches). After the sacrament there will generally be 2-3 speakers and a musical number, followed by another hymn and a prayer to close the meeting. After the sacrament meeting there are other Sunday meetings. There are classes for children, teenagers, and adults. A member of the congregation would be happy to help you find the location of these if you'd like to attend."
"This is an excellent place to worship! The facility has a large general meeting room for general religious services and then many comfortable side rooms for Sunday School classes, including classes and activities for children ages 2 through 12 years old. It is very family oriented and a very friendly atmosphere."
"I really love this church! There are several wards (congregations) that take turns meeting in this building, including a Spanish group and an ASL group. We have our regular Sunday meetings, as well as various weekday activities. The youth from all of the wards meet together on Wednesday evenings, which really helps tie us all together a little better. There are active groups for Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, as well as a group for the girls ages 8-11, and of course the teen boys/girls ages 12-18. The women's group (Relief Society) meets each Sunday, as well as a monthly weekday activity. The Palo Verde Ward also takes in Davis-Monthan AFB, in its boundaries, so roughly half of the ward is made up of military families. The more permanent residents of Tucson are welcoming and love to include the military families in all the activities and leadership opportunities."
