"Preaching the complete law and Gospel. Generous, friendly people."
"Great teachers! My daughter has learned so much from there. She has grown both mentally and physically there, while learning honest ways"
"Excellent Lutheran Church very friendly atmosphere"
"My daughter goes to Ascension Luthern School, she's in Pre-K. I love this school, I believe there's only 13 kids in her class. So each kid gets more one on one time with the teacher. And each class room also has a teacher's aide. They now take infants. I'm just upset they only go up to kindergarten."
"My wife and I visited here for a number of months. The pastor is very much into the church growth movement with its praise worship. The worship is loose if not irreverent. The primary pastor can deliver a good sermon but that is about it in terms of the positive. Good Bible classes are non-existent, the one that we tried being taught by elders rather than a seminary-educated pastor. The sign leaving the parking lot says "you are now entering the mission field" and yet neither pastor ever got out of his office to come to our home for a home visit. We did receive a type-written letter after going there a few months inviting us to a new members class. Interesting. This church has little to offer the believer desiring to develop a closer, deeper relationship with Jesus the Christ. Please, if you are a committed Christian who happens to be from a Missouri Synod church and have moved to this area, you can save yourself a lot of frustration and just head to the Wisconsin Synod church around the corner where you can find both reverent worship as well as pastor-led Bible classes. Possibly you might even find both a group of people and a pastoral staff that cares about you."
