"My mom has been seen at this office for over 12 years, she doesn't smoke, drink, do drugs, she doesn't even drive, she can barely walk on most of the days. She had a urine test which is normal on her visit in December everything was fine until her next appointment for a refill appt. in January when they saw her and told her they had found COCAINE in her urine test. They never called her to let her know, hey we saw something in the results, I mean she has been seen with them for so long she deserves at least a call to maybe do another test? I would think right? There was 3 other urine samples that day she did hers inside the bathroom, but no one thought it could had been an error? The Doctor told her the she couldn't see her anymore and couldn't give her anymore refills for her pain meds. We obviously could not just sit there and do nothing about it my mother needs her medication she cannot be without it, her primary doctor had told us that by now there's no way she could be without it because of her pain and how long she has been using it she needs them. We argue that they should had called us when they got the results so they could had tested her again because it had to be a mistake, this lady doesn't even smoke I mean cocaine? We told them that she doesn't even drive, they said " well maybe with some friends" really? my mother has no one but us her kids and husband thats it. So I called the lab to see if they could do a blood test they said they couldn't but we could take her to a private lab and they would be able to because cocaine stays in your system for a few months, so we did. It came back NEGATIVE, as we knew it would. My mom had an appointment in Feb. 22. Today at 9:45am they called me at 9:36am to tell me they could not give her a refill because they had previously told her they wouldn't. I had spoken with 2 different girls on the phone prior to this appointment one this week and one on Friday. Which I explain to them about the results and I emailed it to them, which they told me that then it was ok. I asked the second lady so then everything is ok? she said yes. So when I got the call 9 minutes before her appointment the girl who refused to give me her name and hung up on me said "she told you no, that we were not giving her a refill" I said no, She never said that, she said that it was ok" she said no she didn't I was right next to her" Why would I lie? Why would I not had argue about it with her that day? why would I had told her to go to her appointment my sister lives in Maricopa its about 45minutes of a drive, I would had never made her drive or yet not argue with the last person if she had said no we can't give her a refill. I would had tried to get an answer before going to her appointment, or better yet made an appt. with her primary doctor instead of wasting time with someone thats so unprofessional that cannot figure out what they are doing. Her lab test came back NEGATIVE. The last lady I spoke with who refused to give me her name then said well we are not seeing her and I am hanging up on you. How is this an office that is supposed to help patients to get out of pain? Now she doesn't not have any pain medications, for someone who is old and in pain, that has to take her meds every 6 hours this is extremely painful."

"STAY AWAY, TERRIBLE NURSE PRACTITIONER THAT SHOULD BE INVESTEGATED FOR MALPRACTICE!!!! In addition to that, this person is just all around ignorant, uneducated, dishonest, and extremely unpleasant and should NOT be in a position of authority that involves people with medical issues. I am NOT someone that typically writes reviews so please take a moment and read this...it could really save you a great deal of pain and frustration. I recently had surgery on my right knee, and I was assigned this nurse practitioner, GENEVA (GENNY) SMITH from Integrated pain consultants since they are my pain management facility. I have only met this lady twice and each time she was extremely rude and very uninformative. She does NOT know her patients…and I don't know if it's because she doesn't care or if she's too "self-medicated" that it doesn't matter, (She mistakes my knee surgery for shoulder surgery multiple times). Geneva was supposed to prescribe me post op meds and long story short, she never did. She kept the same prescription that I had been on previously which was NOT enough to help with the pain from my surgery. I called multiple times Friday, the day after my surgery and her staff said she was off that day, and I wouldn’t be able to get in touch with her. I had them leave a message with Dr. Saini, the doctor that I thought was my primary care physician, and low and behold, I didn't get a call back, an email, nothing...I called 4 more times that day and not one response. Now, I have Saturday and Sunday and Monday which is presidents’ day, to endure some excruciating pain since my pain management facility decided to ignore me. Come Saturday, 2 days after surgery, I called the on-call doctor at integrated pain consultants. I received a call back quick with a recommendation to go to the ER. After enduring many more hours of pain, I decided to go to the ER and the on-call ER doc found it so unprofessional and cruel for Geneva Smith to let her patient suffer with no pain meds because her priorities are all out of whack. Following morphine injections, and pain pills that evening, I was told that I needed to get in touch with my pain management doctors and have them prescribe because something that actually works. Come Monday, today, I called pain management so many times I’ve lost count. Towards the end, a representative from the mesa integrated pain consultants group called and said that I have to turn in my old "regular" pain meds in order to get new stronger ones. I sent my fiancé to drop of the meds and Geneva made her wait around and ended up denying me access to further meds…The reply on this post will be Integrated pain consultants saying that they denied me further meds because there were about 30 plus pills missing from the bottle. My fiancé explained to Geneva that she had accidentally dropped the entire bottle in the kitchen sink the day after my surgery and recovered what she could…this is irrelevant because regardless of that, I still had well over 50 pills…this issue at hand was that the pills themselves were NOT working! At this point Fabian Quintana (Clinic Supervisor) (Credentials of medical expertise is unknown), got on the phone with him and explained why his horrible Nurse was giving me so many problems. At this same time, there were multiple medical personnel talking with my fiancé about what was going on and why Geneva was giving her such a hard time."

"Dr. Saini was thorough and answered all of my concerns. He set up a treatment plan that I have renewed hope in more mobility without pain. Very compassionate. I want to give everyone a shout out on the team that did my knee blocks. The kindest people. The recovery room, Patricia and Juan are exemplary. They took excellent care of me and are kind and caring."
