"My wife and I as well as our four children, several of our grandchildren and my in-laws have been patients of Dr. Verdejo for 12 years plus and have always been treated well and have seen the doctor as well as PA’s over the years. There are sometimes longer wait times but you have to understand Dr. Verdejo and the way she attends to her patients. She is not your run of the mill doctor. She doesn’t rush you in, throw a prescription at you and rush you right out the door while collecting payment. Dr. Verdejo takes time with each of her patients to fully understand what their problem is and makes sure she addresses everything that you may be concerned about. So, by doing so, while caring for her patients you might have to wait a little longer. She will take the same time with you as needed. I’ve seen comments in the other reviews here about rude staff. I have never seen a staff member that was rude. I’ve seen some in the past that might have been a little abrasive but not rude. I think people need to think about how they act towards staff members and realize that may have caused the reaction they considered rude. Most of those comments are from many years ago and the staff has changed over time. So, put those statements aside and give Dr. Verdejo and her staff a try. They are caring and friendly people as long as you treat them likewise. As far as a language barrier, in the 12 plus years of going there as a Caucasian, English speaking patient I have never had a problem communicating with the staff there. If you are looking for the assembly line doctors office that rushes you in and out within an hour then you need to go elsewhere like one of the many urgent care facilities that really don’t care about you. But, if you want a doctor and staff that truly cares about what is bothering you and you can not stack other appointments on top of your doctors appointment to give them time to take care of those ahead of you as well as you then this is the place for you.
