Tri-City Colo-Rectal Surgery

"Very shady place, I went here for a butt check a couple years ago. Then they said they need to do an early before 40 in depth butt check, given my family history of cancer. Tried calling to get an appointment and no one would answer the phone, when someone did answer the phone they would direct me to another phone number to call and no one would answer. Left countless messages. Then I forgot about it and went about my business. Then I was reminded, now that I’m 40 I need the in depth butt check. So I called again to schedule an appointment. This time someone answered and told me they would have to mail me paperwork I’d need to fill out before I could schedule an appointment. Odd, I inquired as to why this is necessary and was told they could not tell me why. Too many red flags, I suggest avoiding this place. Something is not right here."

"I called the office to make an appointment and they said that I would have to fill out paperwork 1st and then they would schedule me. They said we will mail them to you. Which I thought strange since in this day and age of computers it seems rather outdated . So anyway I filled it out and sent it back. Several weeks later I get the same paper work sent to me again. I called and they said maybe it was an error and they would check and see if they had it, got disconnected. Called back and she sent me to scheduling, left a message, never got a call back. Called 4 times the next day and got disconnected. The 5th time the gal said we are having phone issues, give me your phone number and I will call if we get disconnected. Got disconnected and no call back. I WILL NOT EVER GO THERE IF THIS IS THE WAY THEY TREAT PATIENTS!!!!!"

"Be mindful when using this office. After 30 years working in the medical industry for various specialties and offices, this is the first time I have come across an office that would deny someone treatment without money. I could not pay the co-pay so I was turned away. They would not consider billing me even though I have been a patient of their for more than a decade. I am now looking for a new specialist."

Every question is answered, every phone call returned. I recently had a low anterior laparoscopic re-section/sigmoidectomy. Under the advisement of Dr. Vankatesh I made the decision to have the procedure. Never was I pushed towards surgery, or not given a choice. Prior to the procedure the staff handled everything with insurance, taking that stress off our plate. Dr. Vankatesh has remarkable bedside manner. He sat with me and my family before the surgery to make sure any questions or apprehensions were addressed. After the procedure, Dr. Vankatesh immediately sought out my wife and gave her all the information about the procedure, the success, and again, asked to answer any questions and gave her his time. He not only called the hospital floor twice daily to check on me, he visited me each day, including Saturday, by 7am. I’m grateful for Dr. Kris, his staff, Chandler Regional and their staff. Hands down this is a practice that has integrity. I was treated as a person first….not a patient. Thank you again Dr. Vankatesh, Tri-City Colorectal and all staff."
