"The Dr is great but the office is set up so that patients have to needlessly suffer for prolonged periods of time. It is insane and wrong. I have been in pain since October. This clinic overstuffs this Dr's schedule and also does not have emergency slots built into her schedule which is a problem in and of itself. The soonest apt was 6 weeks away! They referred me to an Urgent Care. The Urgent Care found nothing wrong b/c their testing is limited. I literally have never had a gyno refer me to an Urgent Care, it was not an emergency but also not an ok situation to be dealing with. I finally get seen with Dr Bennion, and upon check out, I ask her and the front office staff to please leave the instructions on my vm and to order any recommend meds right away b/c I have a romantic, tropical vacation coming up and I don't want to be in pain for it. They have me sign a release to do this but then they disregarded those instructions over and over. Instead, they left a message to call them back. Every time I called, this clinic has no clinical staff available to transfer me to so we could review my results, and treatment options. I've never had this issue before with a gyno. So I kept having to leave a message with the receptionist and then they leave a vm simply stating to call them despite the fact that I have been BEGGING to please just leave a detailed message to answer my 2 questions b/c I work 9-5pm. They finally do leave a message with some treatment options, but the message is so confusing and muffled, including a website address listed that was not spelled out and I could not understand to order some kind of homeopathic cream that I have to call Banner back AGAIN, numerous times and repeat this frustrating process all over again. I finally get transferred to a nurse who is also confused by the instructions and escalates the message to the Dr. Someone calls me back and continues to leave vms that have no information, just to call back as the Dr had a few questions for me before clarifying her instructions but they don't bother to say what those questions are. So I have to do the phone tag process again. I have probably called Banner over 15 times in the course of 3 weeks since my apt December 9th. I keep saying for almost a month now, I am leaving for a trpical vacation soon and I don't want to be in pain. Please help me. Please tell me what is wrong and what to do. Every time, the receptionist are very kind, empathetic, validating and say they will escalate the call to get me the answers I need. Again, I say, please have them leave me a detailed message - but they don't. I have seen a few several gynos the past 3 decades (I am 47) and have never found it so challenging to get an apt, or get answers/help after an apt. It sucks, b/c I really like this Dr but I can not in good faith recommend this place. I leave for my trip this weekend and I am so hurt, angry and disappointed that despite trying so hard to take of this issue before I left, I still have this issue b/c of Banner's broken and negligent system."
