"I have had over a dozen consults before finding Susan and Doctor Brown. All the offices I went to were all very nice and good at selling but didn’t seem as professional as I’d like. They were like yeah we can do a serious peel or laser anytime. It was scary because this is my face. This office however doesn’t hold back. They’ll tell you like it is and make sure you know exactly what you need and what’s best for your skin. It’s not taken lightly. Susan is beyond knowledgeable and direct about what you need prior to doing a treatment which is huge. This is because she truly cares. At first I was like whoa do I really need to do all this first?! I even tried to get in earlier then the recommended pretreat but Susan checked my skin and I simply wasn’t ready yet. So I trusted her and followed the regimen required prior to treatment. Man oh man am I happy I listened to her! Once my skin was ready, she said ok now your ready, so we did the blue peel. I am beyond thrilled and I have beautiful skin now along with the skin regimen that has changed my life! Great skin shouldn’t be downplayed or rushed. The industry needs more professionals like Susan. Thank you Dr Brown and Susan for being a truly solid place to ensure quality care. "Where do I start? First, I do not like to write bad reviews. Second I want to be very clear that my review is about the office and the staff, NOT the OBAGI products. The OBAGI products are great! I came to Sensational Skin a year ago based on a recommendation from an acquaintance. It was not at all what I expected. On my first visit I waited over two hours to be seen when no other patients were around. Looking back now, the empty office should have been a clue to not move forward. I initially went in for a facial skin consult and instead was convinced to buy a skin care regimen. They placed over $100k worth of OBAGI products in a bag and sent me out the door without any instructions because Susan had to leave to pick up her son from school. I had to ask her multiple times and call the office to go over the product regimen, so I knew how to use the product correctly. My second visit was a complete waste of time. I sat for over an hour and a half again in an empty office after driving all the way from the West Valley simply to be put in a room to wait, have some cream slathered on my skin, and told to continue the skin regimen. Never once did I see Dr. Brown; something is not right at this place."

"The first time I went to sensational skin they completely took advantage of me. I went in for a cool-sculpting consult and was influenced to start a new skin care regimen instead. They placed over 600$ worth of Obagi product in my bag then charged me. I was under the impression that the 600$ was the bill for my photo facial and that those products were just samples. During a routine facial with extractions, Susan pressed on my skin so hard with a sharp tool I bled. Susan used a topical anesthetic to numb my face three times, then left me for an hour each time. During one photo facial, Susan burnt my face and left me with a scab and scar I still have 8 months later. After I approached her the next time, she said, "Oh, you're fine." On another occasion I asked Susan who she hires and she admitted to NOT hiring real Aestheticians with a license. Although she has her license, the other employees don’t which makes sense why everyone has such a bad experience. I’m not one to write reviews in fact this may be my first ever, but sensational skin was truthfully a DANGEROUS and horrible experience. They take advantage of you, lack quality customer service, and perform dangerous procedures without a license. This review is to warn other potential customers. Please don’t be negligent. Don’t pay any attention to their response to these one star reviews. Sensational skin is NOT worth your time."
