"I have been suffering with a runny nose and runny eyes for two years. On Monday the 10 of December I had an appointment with Dr Douglas Smith. He was very kind and really experienced as an ENT. After he diagnosed my problem he prescribed a nasal spray & eye drops. Today is Friday the fourteenth of Dec. My eyes are much better and now I blow my nose about 8 times per day. I had been treated by a young lady for two years. Dr Smiths experience and knowledge made all the difference. Age gives one great experiences. I have been miserable with a nose & eyes that ran for two years. I was to the point of stuffing Kleenex up my nose to keep from dripping on myself or my surroundings. I thank God for Dr.Smith and his treatment of me."

"I truly wanted to love this place. I feel like I gave them time after time after time to correct the issues I was having. I initially went in with a nasty ear infection. The doctor was great and suggested that I schedule an allergy test as I suffer from recurring ear infections that we are chalking up to a heavy influence from allergies. He told me that the office would call my insurance company to check my coverage and then follow up to get the allergy test scheduled. Two weeks went by, and I still hadn't received a call, so I reached out to follow up. The person I spoke with informed me that she couldn't locate my file and her guess was that the process was never started. She told me she would continue to look for it and reach back out once they located it. As a courtesy, I allowed an additional 48 hours before I called back. I explained the situation to the now new person I was working with who mentioned it was her first day at the office. I told her that I was getting increasingly frustrated as all I wanted was for my file to be located and for an allergy test to be scheduled. She put me on hold and was able to find my file within 2 minutes of looking. It was located on the desk of the person who calls the insurance companies to check for deductible info who happened to be on a 2-week extended vacation. I should mention here that this vacation did not begin until a week after I was seen in the office and told they would reach out, so I would now need to wait another week before she even gets back to work on it. From there, I agreed to continue to hang tight while I waited for someone to call me back. I wish I could end the story here, but it continued. A week and a half later, I still had not heard back from anyone. Instead, I received a bill in the mail, which of course I wasn’t expecting as nothing from my prior visit was above and beyond my copay which I had already paid. My insurance has different tiers of doctors and I made sure when finding this location that it was listed on the highest tier with the lowest copay and that was exactly what they requested I pay when I arrived in the office. So, when I received a bill in the mail to pay the difference between the Tier 1 and Tier 2 copays, not only was I confused, but also at my wits end as I still, after nearly a month from being in the office, had not received a call back to schedule the allergy test. I called the number on the statement and asked to speak with a supervisor, as I was so tired of being jerked around by the various team members I had spoken to. She investigated the billing issue and offered to call my insurance on my behalf to get things sorted out and give me the correct answer, as she was seeing on her end that I shouldn’t have been paying the additional $25 copay. It has now been a total of 3 months, and I to this day never heard back from the billing department. Overall, no doctor will ever be worth seeing if the customer service and communication is SEVERLY lacking. Please listen to these reviews and find somewhere else to go. You will just end up frustrated in the long run here."
"I should have listen to the review, this place is HORRIBLE. Dr. Bartell didn't bother listening to my restrictions on medications and prescribe something sending me to the ER. His office manager Megan is even worse, she never answers the phone or calls back had to finally call repeatedly after being sent to VM multiple times before she would finally get on the phone and refuse to resolve my billing issue. Avoid this sham of "doctor's" office at all cost find some one more reputable."
"Dr.Smith is simply terrific. Knowledgeable, sensitive, informative and extremely caring. I immediately felt at ease as he has a very friendly demeanor and felt confident in my receiving expert medical care. I highly recommend Dr. Smith to anyone in need of an excellent ENT doctor. I even have recommended family members and close friends. He is literally THE BEST!"
