Westgate surgery center

"My surgery was rescheduled 3 times due to not having an anesthesiologist. When my surgery was scheduled for the third time, I was told that they had to call around and beg for an anesthesiologist to come in the day of my surgery. I understand the staffing issues in the medical field right now but how does a surgery center operate without an anesthesiologist? The delay caused issues with my employer and my leave causing me to to use about a week of my PTO that was unnecessary. After my surgery center did not have the crutches that my dr had requested. I will say the nursing staff was amazing and comforting. I really appreciate it how the senior nurse was talking the brand new nurse through patient care. Not that the new nurse didn’t know what she was doing but the senior nurse showed a lot of compassion and willingness to mentor her coworker."

"The surgery center took payment. I have been aware for a few months I over paid but I kept quiet to see if they would ever refund the difference. I was about to complain, write regulator, report but it all worked out. Took about 4 months but the refund for the correct amount was sent. Very easy for this money to get lost with the way our medical system is setup. The facility it self was nice. No windows but nice size waiting room and prep facilities. I would not hesitate recommending this facility if you have options."

"I wish something higher than 5 stars was available because i had the best surgery experience of my life. I have a lot of hospital trauma from past injuries and surgeries and this was just such a nice and completely different experience. I was almost in tears leaving post op thinking about how wonderful and nice everyone on the staff was from the nurses, to the doctor, and anesthesiologist. The nurses especially kept me so calm and relaxed throughout the whole process even though i struggle with bad anxiety. I hope they know what an amazing difference they are making"

Receptionist: The receptionist at the facility was extremely helpful and courteous. They went out of their way to assist me in scheduling an appointment and answering all of my questions. Their friendly demeanor and attention to detail made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Doctors: The doctors at the facility were knowledgeable, professional, and caring. They took the time to listen to my concerns and provided me with detailed explanations of my diagnosis and treatment options. Their expertise and compassion put me at ease and gave me confidence in their ability to provide me with the best possible care. Anesthesiologist: The anesthesiologist who administered my anesthesia was top-notch. They took the time to explain the process to me and made sure I was comfortable before proceeding. During the procedure, they monitored my vitals closely and ensured that I was pain-free throughout. Nurses: The nurses at the facility were kind, attentive, and skilled. They provided me with excellent care during my stay, ensuring that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. They were always available to answer my questions and provide me with assistance. Cleanliness facility: The facility was immaculately clean and well-maintained. The staff worked hard to ensure that everything was spotless and sanitary. This attention to cleanliness gave me peace of mind and made me feel safe and protected. Overall, I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of medical care. The receptionist, doctors, anesthesiologist, nurses, and cleanliness of the facility all exceeded my expectations, and I am grateful for their excellent service."
