"Our overall experience is 1 star for the learning experience I received from this place. The care coordinators , counselors, supervisors, provider’s nurses, and the medication management providers are all unprofessional. Intermountain hires employees with mental health issues to support others with mental health problems. A lot of misguided help and decisions are made at this place because the staff are not qualified to be helping others. They made many mistakes including with medication. All they offer is ABA therapy without the parents even understanding this type of therapy. I did my own research on ABA and it’s abuse to anyone with behavioral challenges. They believe ABA has been revised and improved from what it was. That’s a lie. The young employees are brainwashed and the older employees are either incompetent or untrustworthy."
"I was seen there a few years ago by a therapist named Nikki who was amazing they were apart of the community and leveled with me in so many ways and got me through some things I was going through at the time being 20 or 21 like dang she was a rare diamond and I am thankful for this place because I wouldn’t have gotten the help I needed if this place wasn’t here and didn’t offer the care they did"
"They never update records correctly or upload pertinent documents to ensure trauma isn't continuously placed upon families. They do not take proper steps in the reporting process when information is given in private sessions. You guys really need to get it together. As a mental health facility, you should understand PTSD and triggers when you don't get your things right."
"4 staff members I interacted with and only 1 seemed to semi care. Had a significant issue because dr.kramer was not taking proper notes. I have asthma, this was not in my notes. 1)A therapist dropped me(w/out warning) when I didn't want to try to be normal, aka pretend I don't have diagnoses to the detriment of me in order to not annoy people with my needs. 2)The psychiatrist was never engaged, or paid attention; Basically disregarding anything I said, dead set on putting me on medication that was running my sleep. 3)went in for what was supposed to be an autism eval, it was another intake/consultation . For information they should already have. The doctor seemed uninterested like she was just waiting to go home. I'm not very hopeful about the rest of the autism diagnostic process. 4)the only one who seemed to care, very flexible, lisa will respect your pronouns to the best of her ability. She does talk alot, so be avid about being apart of the conversation, or be prepared to listen. Overall I didn't like my time with this place, I did learn some stuff. I don't know for sure if dr.weibreck(#3) will be better in later appointments, if not I will simply go somewhere else."
"I understand that there is a high turnover in children's behavioral health and that there are an overwhelming amount of need. However with that being known one would think there would be measures in place to keep children that they say are high needs from experiencing gaps in care when someone leaves. The patients are required to have crisis/ safety plans for their health, yet there is little accountability from the provider. If I hear "I don't know" one more time, and they wonder why there is hesitation in seeking treatment. Therapists give up after 3 appointments, saying the child is not engaged enough. It is a high needs child, of course it is going to take more then a few attempts. You are only teaching that child that if they avoid long enough everyone will leave them alone."
