"I use to just get my prescriptions on the whim. My doctor joined Optum and now I gotta do a whole physical checkup and spend 350+ dollars every year to just re-up on something I need. Now I gotta go through the process of finding a new primary care physician because this place will run your pockets. Do Not Recommend!"
"Not enthused. I'm pretty upset that Dr. Tooley switched. He is a wonderful doctor, but this practice is horrible. I waited on the phone for 20+ mins and gave up. I'm reluctant to do so, but I will probably switch doctors here soon. EDIT: I have had a cold for almost two weeks now. I got prescribed an antibiotic ( I thought I was getting bronchitis) after many calls to the after hours answering service, since they don't call you back. After 4 days of being on antibiotics, I am getting progressively worse, feeling faint, etc. I called the office yesterday and told them to call me after I get off work at 2:30pm. I instead they called at 9:44am, when I couldn't answer. I called back and requested the same time, only to not receive a phone call. I went home and slept until 3am and woke up with a fever that is slowly going up. I called again, two hours ago and still have yet to hear from anyone. I'm going to just go to the ER as there is no point in calling the after hours service. I love Dr Tooley, but man this practice really sucks."
"I was a patient of Dr. Tooley for years but Optum considers me a "new patient" and isn't accepting new patients unless they are on a certain kind of Medicare. Apparently I'm no longer worthy of being seen by my GCP. When they buy a previous practice they shouldn't push the patients out. They don't care about providing health care - just making money."
"I, too, am a patient of Dr. Tooley. (25+ years). Started with needing a refill on my insulin. Had to see the Dr before they would refill. Need a bridge so I wouldn't run out. 4 phone calls later, still didn't have it. Used to be able to get right in. Now that he is part of OPTUM, I had to wait over 2 weeks. Once I saw Dr. Tooley, finally gave the okay for the insulin but they didn't write out the script properly so 3 more calls later, I finally got it at the very last minute. Also had a toe thing and needed my eyes checked. He said that they would send over the referrals to a foot dr. and my eye dr. and that they will call me to schedule an appointment. Waited 3.5 weeks and nothing. Called and lo and behold, they "missed" it in the file and hadn't even sent the referrals. After explaining to them no less than 3 times who my eye dr. was, they finally sent the referrals over and said if they don't call for me to call them. You can guess that I ended up calling. Foot doctor took 2 more weeks to get in. Eye doctor took 4 weeks to get in. Started this project on September 15th. Project will be complete on December 12th. 3 months of phone calls and delays. I'm sorry but I do have better things to do then to mess with this stuff and if it was something urgent, well, heaven help me."
"Dr. Noonan and staff are the best. I don’t usually read reviews, but I have to respond. Who cares if there is no wi fi? The staff ARE ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL. The medical world has changed and doctors, nurses, and everyone involved try at Optum. As for Dr. Noonan , he took over arguably the best PC physicians practice in Tucson and has succeeded . That’s what is important. No waiting and thorough follow thru. Health care by dedicated people takes time and appointments can take longer than expected. I spend more time waiting for my car or plumber. RX’s in one day . Can’t beat it Jack"
