"My doctor's office send a referral to Dr Patel on July 5th it is now August 7th I have not received a phone call from the office staff to schedule my appointment. I called to verify if they got the referral which it was received and now I'm making an appointment. The appointment is not available till the end of the month. The new patient paperwork I was told I can print it out or I could go to the office and pick it up No courtesy to have it mailed to me. The excuse I was given why I never received a phone call within the last month was they were super busy and is not able to get to the referrals to schedule appointments for patients period I asked to have the office manager give me a call."

"Dr. Patel is very arrogant. His staff, as far as I can tell, are good at setting up appointments. It took a lot of effort on my part to receive any useful information from his staff. It took months and a lot of phone calls before I could get my final bill- this service was contracted out. During my appointment- Dr. Patel had a staff member go into the room with us. While administering one of my injections, he asked her if she could see on the screen where he was placing the needle. She responded, "no." After my appointment, I called the office and asked if they have an LPN or an RN as a part of their staff- their response was "no." The person in the room when Dr. Patel was administering the injection- was his receptionist! Finally, when a letter was requested to sum up my treatment, etc. he wanted to charge me $500.00 an hour- the cost did not include the letter. I received relief from the injections; but I would never go back to Dr. Samir Patel nor do I recommend him."

"The providers and staff are AAA plus. They care about their patients and this is not a mill like some of the big pain offices. They call patients back promptly not a week later. I recommend Dr. Patel and his associates to anyone looking for caring and compassionate pain specialists. They are innovative and use advanced techniques."

"Took my wife who has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, she has been thru more chemos and radiation than 99% of humans with resultant chronic pain, and was seeking a consult on alternative pain medications outside of opiods. To initially consult, Dr. insisted, and would not budge on paperwork related to childhood trauma of 45 years prior and would not provide a basic discussion as he was so caught up on simplistic correlative factors that he failed to see the human in front of him while showing no interest in CT scans of calcified tumors. It was more important to have a box checked on childhood sexual abuse, which labels a patient differently between female and male. ...And to compare this stubborn behavior to world class physicians we have seen at Mayo or Fred Hutch in Seattle where physicians thoughtfully engaged their patients... what a waste of time. After a defensive 5 minute dialogue, we agreed there was no purpose in proceeding further, walked out... one of the worst encounters in my wife’s complex ten year cancer journey. if you need a shot in the knee, go here if its convenient. if you have a complex cancer that requires a thoughtful physician, avoid."

"Dr Patel also wastes his time. By checking his patients urine. why can't the nurse do that? I heard him asking his nurse does she know how to change the toilet rolls on the toilet. why does he do that while patients are waiting. If you want a dr that makes you wait. this is the doctor to go to."
