"I was excited that I got right in. I'm sure there were others in exam rooms but nobody in the waiting room. I waited an hour in the exam room after the nurse took my vitals. No communication, nothing. I left and went to the window to get refund. The person at the window said ok, I just need to get my manager. So they were both there... no apology, nothing. I will never go back. I should have read the reviews first :/"
"My husband just came to this urgent care to have a skin infection looked at. He’s in pain, and he’s frustrated that he couldn’t get into his PCP for two weeks. The lady at the front wearing a cowboy hat was BEYOND rude to him, as he stood in line to be checked in. She first said, I’ll be with you in a moment in a rough tone, so he said no problem and continued to wait in line. She apparently didn’t like that so barked at him to sit down and she would be with him in a moment. I don’t think this was anything personal towards my husband, as she was just as rude to the next person who came in. I honestly just said “eff it, just to go Carbon Health” despite it being further into town from our house. please don’t go here if you’re not feeling well, their lack of kindness won’t help any. Check out Carbon Health! They are amaaaazing and we won’t make the same mistake by coming here again."
"Urgent Care Rincon's website and front door displays 8am-8pm, 7 days a week. But somehow 7 days a week rarely includes the weekend. I drove my very sick wife to Urgent Care Rincon based on the website days/hours just to find a very used, old, faded piece of paper that said "Closed Today". After talking with people on a local community group, it seems Urgent Care Rincon does this most weekend days. Few things are more frustrating than having a very sick family member needing care, driving 30 minutes to see the Urgent Care is closed, then finding out from others this happens all the time. This place should either hire enough staff to cover the weekends or take 5 minutes and change the days/hours on their door and website. Be honest about your availability."
"Did a walk-in here to get my wife's stitches removed from a toe injury. We had came here after not being able to schedule a PCP appointment for as soon as they needed to be removed. We were hoping this would be a quick process, and checking in went smoothly. We were told up front that there was going to be a wait of an hour to an hour-and-a-half. By the time we hit the hour mark of waiting, my wife recieved a text that she would be seen 2 hours later. Do not go here for an "urgent" matter. I guess we could have called ahead, but I am sure we would have been told the same for our wait time as we were in office. Our expected wait time going from 1 to 3 hours was just unreasonable so we left for another clinic that could see us sooner."
"Went here because I needed a cortical steroid for a back issue. I was treated very suspiciously but was finally able to get a prescription for what I needed. When I went to pick it up, it was completely different than what I was told would be there, and there were absolutely no instructions in the mountains of paperwork or even on the bottle itself (it just said see attached mountain of paperwork). I called the urgent care back to talk to the NP who prescribed it to verify it was correct. The receptions would not let me talk to the NP and insisted she could tell me what was going on. The same receptionist had been quite rude and confused when we were there earlier. I found it alarming that the prescription was different from what I was told and that the receptionist was dispensing medical advice. This medicine had a complicated procedure for taking it, so I would have been much more comfortable talking to the NP directly. Is it even legal for a receptionist to tell me how take a complicated medicine? Another really annoying thing is they wouldn't let my wife come in with me to the exam. We're old and we always go with each other into the doctor, because it's just easier for us. I don't know what they were hiding or what was going here. I've never had this issue before with any health care treatment. I could go on about how they made me feel like a drug addict looking for a fix, how condescending they were about physical therapists and the general inhumane treatment, but you get the idea. It seems like they don't look at these reviews anymore, because there are no responses, but hopefully this will help someone."
