"After initially wanting to rebook my first appointment as a telehealth call (the idea of going into a doctors office with the problems I’m facing scares the crap out of me), Esther, the receptionist, lovingly “bullied” me into coming in. Going so far as to push back my appointment a couple hours. Begrudgingly, I forced myself to go in person and it was SO worth it. Nadia and Esther are extremely self-aware of their positions in the medical community. Where my previous PCP went as far as to literally laugh in my face when I presented him my symptoms and did not take my positive test results seriously, Nadia did research right in front of me so we could both understand what could possibly be going on with me. There were questions I’ve never been asked on the new patient paperwork (some didn’t apply to me, but they were really important). She actually touched me, which sounds silly, but I have been in so much pain for months and my previous physician did not bother with that when I ever talked about my areas of issue. We worked on a plan to find out what was really going wrong with me, but she made the possibility of whatever it is sound so easy; just really reassuring. And we covered all my symptoms under the labs that we’ve ordered. I could’ve cried happy tears leaving that office. That’s all good enough for me right now. Anyway, go here!!"
