"Not pleased at all with Dr. Hernandez and the appointment we had with her. The doctor does not understand what homeschooling is and repeated tried to pressure me into agreeing to take my kids to a private or other public school. I tried telling her our reasons but she didn’t want to listen to me and what I was saying. A complete lack of respect on her part for family decisions made and her lack of understanding what it is and what the laws are. PLEASE stick to physical health while a patient is there. She sounded very ignorant when she was attempting to exert her OPINION on the topic and she doesn’t know my child, other children (which she also questioned about- they’re not her patients so it’s none of her business!) During the physical exam- WARN a little girl before you examine certain parts. We practice body autonomy and this was not practiced at the exam today. That was absurd to watch as she did the physical and didn’t say anything about it. My daughter has left the appointment feeling completely violated and defeated. We only wanted a referral to a specialist but the doctor felt she had to say all these other things. We will not be seeing this doctor ever again nor will my family being going to this clinic ever again. Never in my life did I ever experience such carelessness from people in healthcare. This appointment was not an isolated incident by any means. I have tried over the last few years since we moved here to make it work with clinic but they failed miserably time and again. I have had enough of their incompetence. No matter how much one complains or how much we call their management, nothing changes. I don’t know what is going on with this place but it needs to end and I do hope they see repercussions soon from their actions. I will say: we had appointments with Dr. Wilkins recently. Those two appointments were excellent and he was a good doctor. But this was only recently. This last visit with Dr. Hernandez was abhorrent enough to not step foot in that place again. Consistently terrible. So many reviews saying as much and one may think they would do something about it."
"There is something very off about their scheduling process. I was scheduled for a 7:30AM appointment today. I even got a reminder phone call last Friday about this appointment and I confirmed. I got to the main building on time but as it turns out the provider was not even scheduled to work this morning. There should be an option for zero star because that one star is undeserved."
"I have read some of the complaints on this review page. I’ve heard story’s here that I totally agree with. This is the worst health care services I’ve ever encountered. I don’t want to waste anymore of my time explaining the poor service my wife and have received over the past 5+yrs. Not receiving a report on a Gaul Bladder ultrasound done in March is the last straw and is all I have to say. Before anyone questions this review I leave here let me say this. My wife retired as a Nursing Director of End of life care for a major health care organization. I myself was an Maintenance Electrician in 2 different large hospitals for 20 years."
"Last tuesday I had called to obtain my medical records, I was told that I could only obtain them by going through the patient portal. I said ok and was transfered to the patient portal specialist. No one answered so I left a message with my contact information so that someone could return my call. No one returned my call so I called again the next day where someone actually answered this time and knew nothing about my message. They couldn't upload my information so they needed to put in a work order to the third party company who runs the portal. I thought to myself, what is the point of tranfering me to people at the hospital who have nothing to do with the portal. Anyway I went along with it and was told that someone would contact me back the next day. The next day came and no one called. I called back again and another work order was put in for updating my portal, the previous message was nowhere to be found either. I never received a phone call so there I went and called again where finally one of the ladies sent over the information I needed through a message all of which no one offered me before. It wasn't until the following tuesday this third party finally updated my portal and gave me a call. That was just the beginning. Also the previous monday I had surgery. I was due for a post op follow up the following tuesday. Over the weekend I began to notice it bleeding and hurting more than it probably should, it wasn't that severe at first so I figured I could wait until my post op followup date to get it checked. When I awoke this morning of my appointment it was hurting very badly and bleeding very badly so I thought it had opened. I showed up an hour and fifteen minutes before my appointment and expressed to the receptionist and the nurse that I came early because I felt it was emergent that I was looked at and explained I had a lot of blood coming out of my incision. They blew me off and I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes which was then my appointment time. I was very upset because I watched multiple non emergant patients called to the back before me. I explained once again that I was bleeding very badly and needed to be seen. I was not checked in for 1 hour and 45 minutes after I got to the clinic. The supervisor came and apologized to my mom and told her that the policy is that emergant patients are seen first. Their excuse was that there were not any beds available, but this was false there were beds available they were just taking non emergent cases before mine and said it wasn't fair for me to go ahead of them. I'm pretty sure when one patient is bleeding severely and the other 3 patients are not, the patient who is bleeding severely should be seen first. No one apologized to me the actual patient nor did they seem to think my case was emergent but then asked me to come back the next day. Seems pretty emergent if I need to follow up the very next day. When the surgeon came into the room he would ask me a question and then talk over me while I began to answer. They also said I was yelling and screaming which was a complete lie. I think the surgeon would have heard it if I was yelling and screaming being that the clinic is not very big. He then asked me why I hadn't come in earlier if this was the case. I came in 1 hour and 15 minutes early so instead of him questioning me about why I didn't come early when I did, he should have been caring to the wound immediately. They put blame on me for my frustration of their lack of judgement, lack of urgency and lack of following the protocol when a patient tells them that they are emergent. This is probably the worst experience I have ever had at a clinic."
