"I would NEVER recommend anyone to see Katherine King. I have never felt so talked down to in my life. First I just moved to Mesquite so I needed a new doctor as I'm from Utah, I have HS (hidradenitis suppurativa) which is a very uncomfortable disease, I have been dealing with this for 3 years now, a few years ago after numerous specialists were trying to figure out what was wrong with me the head dermatologist from University of Utah figured it out, she put me on a regimen to maintain, I occasionally have "flare ups" which is why I need a doctor in my new area. When I went to see Katherine (she is not a doctor btw, she is a nurse practitioner) she told me that basically I'm not taking preventive measures, I tried explaining to her that my doctor has me on a regimen (maipricin up the nose, wash with hibclens, take antibiotics when needed, hot press my legs, etc.) and she said well every doctor is different and we are all going to do things differently, she actually told me I should be taking antibiotics everyday (as if my immune system was not compromised before), she refused to let me pull up my chart from the UofU so she could see all the tests done to me, she asked if I had lost weight as HS is usually do to overweight individuals, i have always been a small person, matter fact I told her this is the heaviest I have ever been (145lbs) she then said I should be tested for diabetes, again I tried to tell her that I have already done all that and if she would pull up my chart or speak with my physician she would know all that. I have seen many physicians in the last 3 years and NEVER once has one spoken to me like she did. She then said, "well I just don't know what you want my help with?" (because I have a chronic illness that needs management) so basically I paid to have her do nothing at all and she said I should probably stick with my physician who is 400 miles away, no doubt I would rather drive 400 miles to have someone with half a brain, however that's not an option if I have a "flare up". She was by far the worst and I'm so upset the way she spoke to me I'm half tempted to report her to the medical board. So my experience was the worst and yes I would tell you to run very far and find an actual MD if you have a chronic illness."

"She is a great practitioner who understands multiple needs for a patient. She is very friendly and knowledgeable which makes the visits extremely comfortable. As a new patient of hers, she had no problem getting me the medication I needed for my long ongoing battle with Crohn's Disease and also the mental anguish that can comes with chronic issues. The facility is very busy but the service there is amazing for a small town."
