"Right my son into the emergency room to be observed for heart issue. Here for 6 hours before anyone came to the room after being put in room. Had to stay the night because the test that he was supposed to receive were not scheduled until the next day. Nobody told us u til 8 o’clock at night have been here since 2pm. Today have been waiting on the cardiologist all day he came by said he was going to read the echo cardiagram my some recieved in the morning that was at 1 pm today. It is now after 3pm and still have not heard back from cardiologist. If you ask the nurses what’s going on they act like you are bothering them even though they are just sitting behind the desk talking. No wonder medical cost are so much they keep you in here for absolutely no reason. Or at least don’t bother to tell you why it is taking so long. This is my third time here and every time has been the same absolutely no communication."
"The staff from check in to doing my mammogram to ultrasound to talking to the radiologist was an experience I haven’t had before. Everyone was so kind and caring, totally was relaxed at what could have been pretty scary. Not from Arizona. Highly recommend ❤️"
"My initial experience at Yuma Regional Medical Center was quite frustrating, as I had some negative interactions. Parking was inconvenient, security staff were not welcoming, receptionists seemed unhelpful, and I had some concerns about the nursing care. Additionally, I found some doctors to be less than approachable, and I felt the hospital may have prioritized profits. On a positive note, I did appreciate that the hand sanitizer dispensers were consistently stocked. However, reflecting on my experience more objectively, I do recall some individuals who made a positive impact, such as Martin and a friendly Russian lady who work in labor and NICU During my recent visit to Yuma Regional Medical Center, I found the overall experience to be an improvement over my previous stay, although it still had room for further enhancement. I had initially considered relocating to Texas for better care before my daughter's arrival, but this time, it was not the nightmare I had experienced before. Parking was more manageable, and the room we were assigned had a bench, allowing me to sleep comfortably, unlike my previous visit when my wife had to vacate her med bed. The nursing staff seemed more attentive, and the doctors were both friendly and professional. The availability of hand sanitizers remained inconsistent, though. I was pleased to find that the receptionists were nicer, and appointments were honored as scheduled this time, unlike my previous experience. Thankfully, there was no exaggeration of my baby's health condition this time, which had led to unnecessary time in the NICU during my son's birth. That all seemed like an insurance-related healthcare fraud of Unnecessary Procedures. Additionally, I did encounter a frustrating delay in obtaining discharge paperwork, waiting for over 2 hours. This was an inconvenience that could be improved upon. It's disheartening to hear about my friend's recent negative experience at the hospital, where her due date was inaccurately calculated, resulting in a prolonged stay and complications after a cesarean section. It's my hope that Yuma Regional Medical Center can continue to make strides in improving their services. No one should have to endure a nightmare experience while the medical staff enjoys their careers. Wishing for positive changes and better experiences for all who seek care here. God bless all the students they were training, coming in and out of our room. God bless Yuma, I won’t exactly miss this place."
"Delivered my baby here last week and cannot say enough nice things about the staff in the labor and delivery department. I felt like I received the highest level of care and empathy. They explained everything to my husband and I before any treatment which was comforting as I had to be induced at 37 weeks. It was a wonderful experience."
"worst care ever and their rent a cops are complete Jerks not only would they not even let my daughter into the waiting room to see my wife after she just gave birth this morning and being gone from her for four days when I tried to walk back in to go to the vending machine to get my daughter eliminated and Candy to calm her down the rent a cop said step at me bro unfortunately, at that point, he's engaging in confrontation (beware of uneducated, rude conflict, starting security guards that are supposed to be there for our benefit. Will try to fight you or say threats, )of course I am going to react, then tries to pull a power trip and not even allow me the father of the child who had been up for four days while this delivery was happening back in with my wife and newborn baby while they are going to make her stay another day, I will be posting pictures of this horrible person along with writing a letter to the governor. Please take action against this guy. I will post his picture everywhere and be back later to pin up signs all over the property! as well as calling in a phone call to a friend of mine who owe by the way is the governor!!! Worst hospital experience ever I know it’s pretty much the only one in Yuma but I don’t recommend it!"
