"I wouldn’t give even one star if I didn’t have to ! Biggest joke of a hospital I’ve ever seen . Service absolutely horrible .I was told by multiple people during a 3 day stay they have no ice to have ice water. Was told before check out that by the time I drove home to Bullhead city my scripts would have been called in and ready this is at noon, I called at 5pm back to hospital because pharmacy said no there’s nothing . Upon calling @ 5:30 pm a NURSE told me she’d check into it and call me right back. At 8:00 pm I start calling back to NURSES station first person hung up on me. Called back 2nd NURSE tells me that the charge NURSE will get it done before leaving her shift. This would be the 2nd shift charge nurse I was released at noon I then demand to talk to house supervisor Rebeca who couldn’t believe what I was telling her. Here it is 9 hours later I’m finally waiting at pharmacy to get my meds Room #305 absolutely disgusting. Wasn’t offered clean linen not once in 3 days as these picture are proof of the disgusting room and cleanliness. Needless to say I’ve seen cleaner places that my dog goes to for medical attention. I’d be ashamed to give this type of service to anyone . I’ve never been so disrespected in my life. I’m a disabled war time veteran, and I’ve seen some bad horrible places 3 world countries . This place I’ll say is maybe comparable to them ! Never again would I recommend my family, friends, or even strangers to go to this dump ever !"
"I have to thank the staff at the front office for continuing to show up every day. You have to deal with people in emergency situations who may not be at their best. Also the doctors and nurses went above and beyond to help my family in an emergency situation. I am grateful for your empathy and care."
"Thank you for trying your best to handle my situation, but please make sure your nurses treat patients with the respect they deserve. Jamie, please refrain from telling a wife how she should speak to their husband. It is none of your business. Especially when a patient is having a terrible experience. Also, listen!!!! When patients stress they are cold. Do not make them wait outside until the car is visible . Take the patient inside until the car pulls in front of the door. The attitude was not needed when a patient is in a medically horrific situation. Doctors should have the same empathy. Don’t rush during care. It may lead to mistakes. Medical training was a huge part of my past experience. Compassion and understanding strengthens the patient and caregivers. During a medical crisis, patience and kindness are needed. Thank you to the nurses who tried to help in anyway they could. Your service is appreciated."
"Visited ER today. They have a new procedure in ER admitting process that doesn’t work well. They now move you to multiple individual rooms for admitting and care. It’s a sort of musical chairs. There is a distinct lack of communication within the staff. We saw so many people that were involved in my ER visit it seemed uncoordinated and more than necessary.. The doctor was very attentive and ordered and reviewed test results with my wife and I. The doctor indicated that I would be discharged soon. An hour went by and know one came in with the discharge papers. The doctor stopped in on his way down the hall and was surprised to see us still there, and said they will be someone in to release me. Several minutes passed and I turned on my call light and it was not answered. My wife went out into the hall looking for some one to respond to the call light. A nurse my wife found out there said she was surprised that I was not discharged yet. It appears that everyone was surprised, but no continuity in care. This is a case of too many unnecessary fingers in the pie with no coordination of care. The person my wife found in the hallway turned the call light out and said someone would be in to to go over the discharge statements. The original nurse that took us to the first ER room came in with the discharge papers and asked for my signatures. None of the instructions were reviewed or discussed with me. I was just asked to sign the papers that they were received. My wife asked about when the prescriptions would be electronically sent to the pharmacy, she was told that they had already be sent over some time ago. Well, they weren’t. They arrived as we arrived at the pharmacy about an hour later and we had to make a second visit there to receive them when they were ready."
"I can see why the reviews are so bad - I’ll note this is a small hospital… be kind. Except to the reception staff they totally have attitude - the docs and nurses are great and oh by the way bring a book you’ll plan to spend a minimum of 3 hours… if you need diagnostics and more likely 5 hours … the place is clean and once you get past the rude folks up front people out back are nice, knowledgeable (slow there’s no haste here) and they helped me. Oh one last thing; the empty waiting area is 0 indication of you being seen quickly. They literally have a skeleton crew and like 4 ER rooms May the odds be in your favor"
