"I was visiting from CT and my original plans got cancelled and had nothing to do all day. I came across this little retro gaming store call the The Gaming Zone and figured I just walk through. Tommy at the front desk helped me pick out a new switch game. He was super knowledgable and polite and provided a great experience. I had no idea they had a gaming room with every modern console you could imagine. Honestly am super pleased I decided to stop here to spend my free day. Would recommend to anyone in the area to check it out!"

"My son's (20 and 24) love the old school games here. I went with them a few times, not to play, but mostly for the nostalgia of the older arcade game feel. Great place for the younger people and also for us older people that miss growing up. A lot quieter than many other places as well. Parking lot is a bit complicated...small with many businesses and not a lot of space"

"I had been calling every Retro Game store for a few weeks for a specific game with no luck. Ended up calling The Gaming Zone in Tempe and was helped by Chris, who told me they did have it and would hold it for me. He was very friendly, helpful and really did me a huge favor putting the game on hold. The game is a Christmas gift for my son and the #1 thing he wanted, so I was thrilled to finally get it. The store itself is awesome, with a good selection of retro and new games, and they also have a room with arcades you can play. If you buy one of their shirts and wear it to the store you get a discount on whatever you buy so I had to get one since I knew I will be going back. Awesome store and great customer service, will be coming here often."
