"I originally attempted to book a room at a hotel I stayed at a few months ago. The rates had more than tripled in that time, so...looking around I found this little "gem". Price was less than a third of the other nearby hotels so it was a done deal. Front desk clerk was dealing with needy folk when I walked in but was super friendly and helpful. I had a small issue but the customer service was on point and they took care of it with professionalism and a smile. The hotel is within a short drive from Scottsdale and off the beaten path enough that it is truly quiet and an overall pleasant experience. Rooms are unpretentious. Beds are comfortable, shower is hot and I will definitely consider this hotel next time I am in Phoenix!"

"Our room was outdated and quite dirty. There was hair on the floor, and my daughter grabbed a towel that was covered in hair as well. I reached for the phone to call and request more towels, only to find hair on that also. Disgusting. There is a lot of construction happening, which our group was not informed of prior to our stay. The construction required walking outside of the building to get around the hotel at all. It was incredibly inconvenient, especially with children. There was melted plastic in the bottom of the washing machine that came off in our clothes when we did a load of laundry. The front desk was courteous enough, but our group was asked to quiet down while sitting on the patio at the pool at 8:15pm. There are no official “quiet hours” after questioning the staff. The air conditioner was very loud as well. It woke me up multiple times per night, and it was set to 70 degrees in February. It was a disappointing stay, to say the least. Would NOT recommend."

"Location requires a car every thing is within driving distance . Left room in the morning, rechecked in per requirement as booked room 1 day @ a time. Came back to room late around 1130p and found my belongings were packed up taken to desk and then placed back in room without office notifying me of this. Belonging had been gone thru, clothes including underwear were all thrown into backpack, very unsettling to know someone has gone thru belongings. After confronting front desk they downplayed the event and never offered compensation. They asked if anything was stolen and said this was a long term employee basically downplaying the event after not even informing me of why room was sweeped, apparently thinking I checked out even though I went to front desk showed drivers license and paid deposit the morning of event! The hotel is under construction and many thing not fully functional or working correctly. Loud construction noise heard daily throughout the day, gym not up and available, construction worker everywhere as well as parts of hotel taped off and dusty with walls closed off. Prices of rooms do not reflect the construction in progress. At one point they were charging $7 daily for parking. Construction vehicles all around parking areas as well as equipment and supplies."

"It was a terrible experience. Tons of dust everywhere from construction. I went to pull out the couch bed and it was still wrapped in plastic and there weren’t any sheets or blankets. Tried to call down to the front desk but the phones didn’t work. On the website it said “full hot breakfast” but they said that was a mistake and only gave us a free pastry. There also was no room service. We had trash from breakfast in our room and left around 8am and came back around 6pm and the trash was still there. Overall experience was terrible never coming back"

"Spent a relaxing weekend here. The room was spacious with microwave, mini fridge, and great blackout curtains. The view is wonderful and desert birds hung out by our back door one morning. Best value for the money in all of Phoenix area. I highly recommend it to everyone."
