AC Hotel by Marriott Phoenix Downtown 414 North 5th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004

"Fantastic hotel especially since my client building is 50 feet away great location. Staff was great except for one. I believe she only likes her race. Sad ! Classes and a 2 inch afro, so beware! I am a people watcher and she treated guess differently! I have been traveling for 26 years and this is a first ! But overall fantastic hotel. Pricey breakfast for 18 dollars is not worth it though!"

"The room was dirty, and the pillows had a strong odor of sweat! Just disgusting!!! No room service or bell service was offered in that hotel. No valet, although overnight parking was $30. Zero information was provided at the time of check-in regarding amenities and wifi. Will not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. I'm a silver elite member. What a disappointment!?!"

"Car was stolen in garage that hotel gives you free parking in. It is supposed to be gated but clearly was not. When the manager heard that my vehicle was stolen he did nothing besides making sure his employee filled out their own corporate report. No apology from him. No contact at all from him. I stood in the lobby 20 feet from him for almost a hour waiting for PD and he had no contact at all. I will be contacting someone besides him as he obviously has zero basic customer service skills. Seems like theft and poor management are frequent here. Don’t stay here if this guy is still in charge. Location was good for visiting sick family member in hospital. Stain on floor in room, mold in shower. Supporting staff were all nice."

"1. The room is great in our 2days staying 2. Location deserves 5 stars 3. NO room service during our 2days staying. We called reception for towels and then came 1 hour waiting. So we had to get downstairs to the guy at the reception. 4. Room cleaning sucks, the first room we got have a blocked toilet. 5. Lady at reception didn’t mention the overnight parking fee, she just gave a QR code saying it can be using during our 2 days staying. And the bill was found after our checkout. Front desk should give clear and apprehensive message when guests checkin. (Her attitude was weird as well, it’s not me to let her work on Christmas Day) Brand under Marriott should be better than this."

"Clean modern hotel a few blocks from Downtown Phoenix. The lobby is large and spacious with a bar and outdoor patio. They also have a restaurant on site which features food with a Mediterranean flair. Check in was efficient and quick. There is a parking garage next door to the hotel for a 30.00 fee. Call ahead for an early check in."
