"Specialist need you there an hour ahead to fill out paperwork, and to call your child's name on time or before appointment time. The staff is friendly and communicates with you throughout the entire process."
"They make you get here an hour early for paperwork that takes 5 minutes to do. My son is here for an MRI today. They have Pandora to listen to on MRI safe headphones or you can bring your ipod to plug into their headphones. There's a tv in the waiting room that plays movies before you go in. Parents (or guardians) can go into the room with their child while having the MRI. As long as you don't wear any metal. Otherwise you can wait in the waiting room. They give you a locker to put your phone and stuff in since you can't bring it in with you to do the MRI ."
"Great staff and radiologists....but the bill for an infant non-contrast, one shot head MRI was $3,000! Ridiculous! Same outpatient MRI at other rad centers is one 4th of that price. Nothing was said to us about the price when we scheduled or checked in. Patients/parents need to be told pricing in advance."
"I've visited this department twice. I had a great ultrasound experience, and then my daughter had to have a VCUG. The techs were very nice, but totally incompetent. I have never seen my 3.5 month old EVERY cry as hard as she did as when they were trying to jam catheters into her that were way too big. The tech continued to say "I guess we need a smaller tube" as she lay there screaming. Didn't ask for help from anyone else, didn't go get someone to do it, just kept trying to jam tubes up there. She then had the gall to say "don't worry, she won't remember it". Never again."
