LA Fitness

"I've been going to golf links LA fitness for many years. It used to be much better and more fun. They used to have a lot more classes available at different times. Instructors were very nice. Now it's dwindled down so not as motivated to go bc I like to go for the classes. I went to Desiree's yoga class and wasn't impressed. At all!!! It was mostly laying there and she ended the class 15 min early. If I wanted a nap I would have stayed home. Decided to try yoga class one more time with the new yoga instructor. She is better, but we didn't stretch before going into more advanced poses. Was afraid I would pull something without proper stretching beforehand. Then I went to the gym to do a 30 to 40 min workout. Got there around 710. Gym closes at 8 on the weekends . Well couldn't enter the gym at all. Front entrance doors were locked but people were in there. No one was at the front desk to find out why. Didn't see a note. Had to call the next day to ask what is going on. Apparently they lock the front entrance doors an hr before closing bc they can't get people out at closing time. Really? It's a corporate decision so all of the locations are like this. What about the people who are still in there that got there before 7? So that was a waste of a trip too. Just weird. Would have been nice to know before I rejoined the gym that the stated hrs are wrong. Will be checking out other gyms."

"As of late this facility has all but removed equipment and areas designated for stretching, using light weights, balls and other tools to maintain fitness. Stretching has been moved to racket ball court with extremely bright fluorescent lighting with no mirrors and a small room. I was told we could take equipment into other areas to do our workouts. This is quite choppy and does not facilitate seniors to complete their workouts. Since many many seniors used the original stretching area (as did other members) it is obvious seniors are the members most effected and discriminated against."

"Never clean, employees at the desk are unprofessional, seems like it’s social hour up there. My husband and I froze our membership and they only froze one account instead of the two, when we went to unfreeze we had a 145.00 balance. We told them if their mistake and they did nothing to fix the problem. They told us that we would have to pay sign up fees all over again to get the account in good standing. Do yourself a favor go to Chuze, you actually get what you pay for!"

"This gym operation has seen better days. They like to change the rules without communicating to its clients and likes to operate different from any other LA Fitness. There was a huge influx when Rita ranch gyms closed and since the beginning of 2023 this gym has been getting worse."

"There needs to be another gym in this area. Thats literally the only reason I still go to LA Fitness. Workers are rude, don't know why they even need to be at the front. They don't acknowledge your existence and are never helpful. Place is always a mess. Never any wet wipes. I signed up for the only other one gym in the area and ended up back at LA when they closed their kids club. Tucson really needs a crunch fitness. Now that's a badass gym."
