"Do NOT use this lab! I am Self Pay and paid 100% of my bill on 12/20/2022. 13 months later, their 3rd Party billing department sends me a bill for $75. I have my receipt, so I advised them I would not pay as I paid in full on the date of service. I tried calling the facility and no one answers their phone. Buyer BEWARE! This is one giant scam in my opinion. How does a legit organization take your money, tells you your account is paid in full and then 13 months later tries to charge you for more money? Thank goodness I have my receipt! Go somewhere else if you need any lab work done. This place is bogus!"

"Unfortunate first visit with SARA- Tucson. 2 stars because scheduling with them wasn't difficult, however, it was overall a poor experience. I went in for an ultrasound appointment, and the ultrasound technician was incredibly unfriendly to me, especially when they asked if I had drank water 90 minutes prior to the appointment. I didn't finish drinking water until 15 minutes prior because no one from the office contacted me with any type of instructions and I genuinely did not know there was a specific timeframe. In fact, they waited to call and confirm my appointment until 8 minutes before my check-in time (my appointment was at 8 am on a Tuesday so they easily could've contacted me the day before and provided me instructions). When I told the ultrasound technician this information, they audibly huffed, appeared agitated, and proceeded to lecture me about how this appointment was essentially unhelpful now because my bladder was empty and I should reschedule. I am a full-time grad student who does not have permanent residency in Tucson so this is not something I can easily fit into my very demanding schedule, and truthfully, this all could've been prevented had the office been prepared and had clear and proper communication. I did not appreciate the immediate blame on me as the patient, and I would not recommend their services to anyone."

"I was given a quote of $191.16. for an MRI. 3-weeks later they sent me a bill for an additional $283.08. When I called to question the bill, I was placed on hold for 20-minutes told someone would look into this and call me back. Two weeks have passed and I I still haven’t received a response. I would not rely on the information they provide to be accurate. They appear to have quoted me for one procedure but coded a different procedure when they submitted it to insurance."

"Excellent imaging facility - they were able to fit me in last minute for an xray. All the staff made me feel comfortable, from check in process to Xray Tech Joe who put me at ease."

"After working with my insurance provider to determine if this provider is "in network", I did not have a good experience just trying to get in touch with someone/ANYONE at Southern Arizona Radiology Associates to confirm that they accept our insurance. I'm glad I decided to go to another provider where I was able to speak to someone immediately to confirm they are in network and to schedule an appointment for tomorrow. I had been trying to make this appointment with Southern Arizona Radiology Associates for the past four days. I am also glad I am going elsewhere if their billing department is as bad as some reviewers claim. Get your act together and communicate with people who need/want your services."
