"Real neat and awesome hotel, real friendly staff and folks staying that they encourage getting to know and enjoyed talking to the folks I met and walking around the hotel and hanging out in the main quarters and plenty of games, movies and things to enjoy! Definitely can see coming back and I stayed in room 15 and during the night felt some movement in the bed but wasn’t bothered and the ghost was a friendly one!"
"Cute hotel with super comfortable beds. They have the good toilet paper in the rooms too, along with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The bath towels are very small though. There is a community kitchen, sitting area with projector screen for movies, beautiful decorations throughout the hotel. There are stories of an angelic ghost and cat ghost, but we didn't see anything. Comfortable stay. The lady we talked to on the phone was super nice. The hot water was not working so they gave us half off our stay automatically. This place is pretty close to the main drag of shops and restaurants. Would recommend!!"
"This is an amazing historical hotel. If you are looking for a tv, pool and round the clock service, go to Tucson. We loved our stay in bisbee, loved staying at this hotel and the charm of it. If you aren’t visited by ghosts, simply close your eyes and imagine the happenings of this place 120 years ago."
"Hotel Lamore at Bisbee Inn: A Hauntingly Unique Experience in Brewery Gulch Nestled in the heart of Bisbee's historic Brewery Gulch, Hotel La More at The Bisbee Inn is a true gem. This 20-room boutique hotel is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience that blends vintage charm, Western grit, samurai swagger, and a touch of the paranormal. It’s a feast for the eyes and a conversation starter. The owner, John-Micheal Thomas, is a film industry veteran who had a vision of combining the Old West and the Far East, and it all began with the colorful Chinese lanterns, which he painstakingly hung from the vaulted ceilings in the tea lounge. Each of the 20 rooms is unique, with its own personality and quirks. Some rooms have private bathrooms, while others share communal facilities. Keep in mind the house was built in 1906, and was once a boarding house for the miners that flocked to Bisbee to make their fortunes. Some of them…never left. Hotel La More is more than just a place to sleep. It's a community hub where guests and locals alike can mingle and share stories in the tea room, which offers parlor games and a communal kitchen. Brewery Gulch is the perfect base camp for exploring Bisbee. Surrounded by restaurants, bars, the best magic show in Arizona and vintage shops, you'll never be short of things to do. The hotel itself is within walking distance of everything. The hotel is said to be haunted, and there are plenty of ghost stories to go around. If you're a paranormal enthusiast, you'll love the spooky atmosphere. Be prepared to embrace the weird and wonderful. If you're not a fan of stairs, request a room on the lower level. Take a walk around Brewery Gulch and explore the shops and restaurants. Visit the Bisbee Mining and Historical Museum to learn about the town's rich history. "Overall I had a decent stay. The new mini-splits were more than adequate for Bisbee winters, with warm days and cool nights. The mattresses are firm but with comfortable foam toppers. I have to knock off two stars, though, for the lack of hot water (not freezing, but still unpleasant) in the shower. I understand it's an old building with quirks, which make the place special. But after my first night, I mentioned the lack of hot water to the front desk clerk who wrote it down and promised to mention it to the maintenance person who was coming in that afternoon. She said she would call me when he would need to go in my room. I never heard anything, and the water was still cold the next morning. Additionally, there was no daily housekeeping--not a big deal by any means, but it would've been a nice touch for $120/night with otherwise very basic accommodations and very small bath towels."
