AC Hotel by Marriott Tucson Downtown

"The location and the room was perfect, but it is inconvenient when you come back from breakfast at 9:30AM to find that your room key does not work. Your guests should not have to go all the way back down to the front desk, just to get a new key when it’s not even check out time. We paid over $200 to stay here for less than 24 hours and this was inconvenient. Other than that, I would highly suggest to stay here. Nice, modern and friendly staff. We will be back!"

"This hotel is absolutely beautiful and the amenities are great. We had a hotel across town that we left to come to this one because the other one was filthy. When we walked into the lobby, this hotel was a breath of fresh air. It has a beautiful roof top pool. Unfortunately, and this is not the hotel's fault, the facility is surrounded by clubs that POUND their music until 2 AM. I didn't sleep well at all. If it wasn't for that, this hotel would get 5 stars from me. Again, nothing the hotel can do but I cannot recommend the hotel for this reason."

"I wish I had read the full reviews before staying as I definitely would not have stayed here. Our room was on the 6th floor directly above the Playground bar, which has an outdoor patio on its 2nd floor - all outside, extremely loud music and it doesn't close or stop until 2:00am!!! I would not recommend it unless you are maybe in an interior room or planning to stay out until the bars all close. I complained and the hotel gave me a 20% discount which is ridiculous considering I got no sleep. Bed is uncomfortable and for some reason the rooms are very small and there isn't even a somewhat comfortable chair to sit in. Not a good deal at all considering the price!"

"This hotel seems to be going through a transition right now (January 2024), so buyer beware. HVAC was broken so rooms were either set to freezing or 80 degrees. There had been a recent transition with maintenance and management so nobody could do anything and guests were left just deal. I slept in all my clothes as it was a cold night. Band playing loudly at adjacent club until at least midnight (not the hotels fault just not a great location as far as quiet goes). Rooms are nice and the staff is friendly, they refunded my full room fee and the hotel could be lovely but needs to sort out their maintenance staff and management. Until then proceed with caution!"

"The AC hotel was perfect location to downtown nightlife! It’s a newer hotel so super clean, my room overlooked the pool would’ve been better if I had a direct view for sunset/sunrise. But I did not have any issues with noise, it was perfect. If you have a car self parking is a breeze and the elevator in the parking garage takes you right to your hotel floor, it will cost ya $26/day but worth it. My fav part of this hotel was Mannie the bartender, he was awesome, not only is he super cool and attentive, he made the best cocktails! My fav was the not so spicy, spicy margarita. Which was perfect after hiking all day! I’ll definitely stay here again and can’t wait for my Mannie Margarita! Thanks for a great stay!"
