"Beautiful location. Clean. Family and small children friendly. Great energy. Pool wonderful. Not fancy if you are a spoiled arrogant privileged type so dont go as we only want chill family folk. Young families and older retires perfect. No hoodlums or loud spring breakers. I loved it as a 68 year old semiretired man as an escape from a complicated life."
"I will be honest. This is a really run down resort that has all kinds of problems. It’s dirty, dingy, and missing all kinds of amenities a resort should have. The entire resort needs to be renovated. It is a resort that has had patch work throughout. Waterfront location is great, but that’s all it has. The grounds (common areas, etc) need so much work. Nothing to entertain guests other than pool. Restaurant has banquet tables and chairs. You would expect it to be a nice restaurant for this type of waterfront location, but it is just dumpy. Had happy hour drinks and the bartender was not a bartender. They skimped out by hiring a real bartender. She was the waitress that had no experience or education on being a bartender. Tried to make a Cadillac Marg and failed twice. Again, part of the hotel has not invested in. Apparently the owners just don’t want to invest in the property. It really needs to be shut down to go through a massive renovated. One COMPLIMENT:: Breakfast was tasty (Very expensive) and Abby (waitress) was fantastic!!!! We will not return."
"Overall it was ok but there are a lot of little things that would deter me from returning. For the price, I expected more. Beach bar was under construction, the only restaurant was close upon arrival due to construction hitting gas line. Was not open until lunch the next day, forcing us to leave the resort for food. Even when it was open, it was very expensive ($21 for a burger or omelette). The pool was chilly, probably about 70 degrees and there are only 4 pool umbrellas total. The beach offers no chairs or umbrellas so you have to bring your own. Our patio was missing a chair and 1 of the 2 tvs in the room didn’t work. Stayed 3 nights and when I called to ask them to empty the trash and bring fresh pool towels I was told they don’t offer housekeeping. Leave the trash outside to be emptied. Had to use the same towel all 4 days for pool and beach. The ac was very loud and kept me and my husband up all night. Next 2 nights had to turn it off for bed so it got warm. Our last night was really windy and the bathroom vent was flapping all night, once again keeping us up. My mom and brother were in a separate room and their water was turned off one morning for about 45 minutes. Not sure why. We rented a boat advertised at $375 for 4 hours but after tax and paying for 1/2 tank of gas it ended up being $500. On the up side, the view from our beach side suite (upper level) was beautiful and the property was well maintained. Pool was clean. We went mid March and I wish the lake was a bit warmer. The water obstacle course was not open yet for the season and my kids would have really enjoyed that. Short drive to London bridge and The Chair restaurant had great food and view sitting outside. This could have been a great vacation if it weren’t for the little things."
"The rooms were just okay. When you book a place for 15 days and there's only one small dresser for two. The hanging space was very small. The receptionists aren't very helpful. The place is very secluded. That's great if you like that. If you visit Lake Havasu City, find a decent motel near the London Bridge."
