"This is a great place to stay in Kanab. We went there for a trip to Southern Utah for our wedding anniversary and got a Queen room with a jetted spa tub within the room. It was great. We visited Bryce Canyon National Park (approximately 1 h 20 minutes away). The Sand Caves (Moqui Caves) are just 5 miles away from the hotel. The location was quiet. The staff was very professional and friendly. The hotel also had the Sego Restaurant on the ground floor, which is one of the best places to eat in Kanab. Highly recommend this place."
"The front desk staff here may be the nicest people I've ever met. The rooms were almost antique looking, but in a good way. Very appropriate for the location. Lots of parking, highly reccomend!"
"You need to stay at this charming boutique hotel! It's so full of charm, hospitality and the rooms all have fireplaces! It's far better then chain hotels. Call Laurie. She'll take great care of you m well all the help is superb! You won't regret staying here plus the have a great chef who prepares excellent dinners!"
"Based on the positive reviews, we were excited to spend a night here for the Hot Air Balloon Festival and booked the "Supreme King" room. Upon entering our room (216) we realized there was nothing king or supreme about it. The bed was an uncomfortable half size mattress in a queen size frame with an old spa tub hardly big enough for an adult. In hindsight, what we were actually given was the "Queen Supreme" room based off the website descriptions despite having paid for the king room. Determined to make it work and not make a fuss we moved on. Returning to our room later that evening to sleep after a long day, it became apparent that was not going to be an option. The walls were paper thin, and we could hear everything from the restaurant downstairs. We might as well as had our bed in the center of the restaurant it was so loud. You could clearly hear conversations, the loud music, and the typical clatter of a restaurant. Even after they closed at 10 pm the noise continued well after 11 pm as the staff was dragging tables around. The clamor began again at 5:45 am when the staff returned to start cooking breakfast banging pots and clashing dishes. If you're looking for a place to get more than a couple hours of sleep then save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else."
"This place is wonderful. We stayed a full week in January after staying one week in two other hotels in AZ. What a difference! It is the only one of the three that still cleans rooms during the stay. The spa bathrobes, fireplace and jacuzzi tub all made us feel pampered. The staff are kind, helpful, go the extra mile. Breakfast is delicious and house made on non disposable dishes and cutlery. Rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed. The staff showed us how to look up weather forecasts on the UDOT site showing where the mountain roads were closed for the season or impassable due to blizzard conditions. The in house restaurant, Spego, is excellent too. Location is amazing too: National parks, hiking, skiing. It's all here. We'll be back!"
