"The campground is hard so make sure you have a sleeping pad. Weather can be drastic so be prepared. The area is surprisingly clean but there was very little people when we were there. Please take your trash out to Supai where there is place for you to drop off everything. Water from Fern Spring doesn’t even need to be filtered."
"Amazing place to visit! It’s 12 miles from the entrance to the campground so make sure you are prepared to ruck it in. Prepare with your own water and food. The first place to buy food and water is 10 miles in at the village. There is not a lot of options. But the place is beautiful and amazing to visit if you can handle it and prepare."
"Great site, spaced out well. Take time to walk through to the other waterfall and see all the space instead of plopping down camp at the first site you see. You shouldn't be camped more than 50' from anyone else... There's plenty of room. Chill on the bright lights at night."
"The campground is 11 miles from the hilltop and 3-4 miles from the supai village, depending on where you find the spot. They have a restroom available and it's clean. Water is available as well, make sure to find a campground closer to it unless you like to make multiple trips carrying water on the top of a difficult hike."
"Make sure you find a good camping spot with shade, preferably close to the stream. Bring water filters and sandals. They're essential. If you're short on any supplies there is usually a "community" table where other hikers leave stuff they didn't need. It'll come in handy."
