"Tv didn't work. Towels and glasses for two when there were three in our party. No weather stripping around door, so it was noisy. At 160$ it was wildly overpriced for what it was. Meh. It was a 40 buck hotel at most and was advertised as such, but it wasn't what they charged."
"Stayed here 17 years ago. Wasn't worth a squirt then. On a whim, looked to see the current reviews and somehow got motivated to share 10 years back. St. George had a golf event happening back then. Was passing through and got little choice but this place. Paid $70 for the bad decision to not book ahead. We were assigned room 1. Walked in and our souls immediately were sent to hell. The initial impression was sunken, but further inspection revealed dingy flat bedding, burnt cigarette table tops, mold in obvious checkered patterns standing out. Not to mention a carpet with a silhouette type stain.we left immediately and moved on to mesquite not even talking to management on how they could present this as a clean room. I'm so glad after 17 years ago, the owners are showing the skills of improving the operations. Only go here if you're desperate please."
"Crack hotel, cops are always driving around here and are arresting people who are higher than a kite! Desk guy threatens to kick you out if you have someone like DoorDash come drop stuff off to your room. Bugs both living and dead everywhere and stains all over everything, asked for a new clean room twice and they just got worse and worse. You would be better off sleeping on homeless street in Vegas!! That might be cleaner then sands!!!"
"You know it is what it is. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Is it the nicest place ever? nope but for the money it’s very decent for the area. Friendly check in. Couldn’t find a better location for what we needed. Breakfast was meh. Parking is a bit strained but works. Love the old school signage out front."
"Nope. Just nope. Don’t get me wrong, I love a dive motel. I’ve done some of my best photo shoots in dive motels. But some dives are just too dive. Worse still, on a lark, I asked in the office about the weekly rate. It was actually more than seven times the nightly rate. Like significantly more. Almost double the weekly rate posted on the sign outside. That was a test—as if the street furniture reject ripped upholstery chair, the filthy floors, and the beaten up furniture wasn’t already a fail. I don’t get the point of this place. The only upside I guess is that they don’t take a nightly deposit and that you’re next to a pickle ball place. At least 3/4 of the rooms face south and west, which are brutal for summer heat. The ancient air conditioner is deafening. Management will cheat you if they can. This is not the least expensive hotel in the area, but it’s still overpriced by about double. I’d take a night at the freaking Snooty Fox in south central Los Angeles over this calamity any day, if you know, you know."
