"One star is too many for Desert Body Restoration in Coolidge. David is dishonest, unprofessional, and takes advantage of senior citizens. He kept my elderly parents RV for 6 months instead of the 2 months max that he promised to have it back in pristine condition. He refused to supplied a quote, work order, or receipt saying he “just doesn’t do that”. At about the 3 month mark my folks stopped by to inquire about the progress because their phone calls went unanswered. They were refused entry due to “insurance company's safety Regulations”. That was a load of bull. He has no insurance, no bond, and no current license to do business in Arizona. He’s a liar and a thief. My trusting parents agreed to his quote of $4400 to repair any body damage and then repaint paint the lower panels around the entire coach. He had the rv in his possession a few weeks when the insurance company sent a check for $9600 to cover what they thought the repairs should cost. When the check arrived the price doubled from $4400 to $4400 “PER SIDE.” He kept the $800 difference and still charged a $450 deductible before he would release the rv to them last week. And after all that time and money he didn’t even match the paint correctly. That would not have been so noticeable if he had painted all of the lower panels as promised. But he didn’t even do that. He refused to supply any written estimate or work order and now we know why. Those documents would be proof enough to put him in jail or at least shut him down."

When I first took my car in for an estimate he was nice enough to say let me buff it out first and see exactly what might or might not have to be painted. Everything was straight up front and the final bill was approximately what he had estimated. They even took the time to fix three or four other items on the car free of charge. Went out of the way to examine my car, including possible mechanical problems and at no charge, to let me know whether or not it was worth restoring as the insurance company probably would total the car.
