"Just went to that Walgreens location to look @ Halloween stuff which they had a lot of, then to get a hair dye & cigarettes. Well they no longer carry tobacco products which is understandable but the hair dye had a coupon to which it was being advertised on both the app & shelf. The cashier didn't honor it even after I showed him I clipped the coupon . He called for a manager like it was a bother for him but nobody ever came so I told him that it was ok I didn't want to hold up the line. He didn't say anything & just pulled the box of dye away from the counter, no apology no nothing."
"Went to get passport photos, photo lady is super rude. She also took 100 photos of me in some dark corner, out of which 99 were shaky. Man if you are providing a photo service, at least invest in a tripod. This is 2023 and we are still using shaky point and shoot camera and that too without a tripod or proper lighting. A 13 year old on tiktok can take better passport photos with eyes closed."
"I used this pharmacy for 30 years and left after they started filling prescriptions off site at a fulfillment center. Prescriptions are not filled in a timely manner and was given the incorrect amount several times."
"Refused to take UHC medical insurance for Flu shots had to got to Walgreens one block away. Horrible. Avoid this pharmacy. Made two appointments for us to get Flu shots. Waited forever, incredibly slow. When we finally got to the counter the woman refused to take our United Health Care medical cards for the flu shot. Insisted we needed a prescription card instead. Tried telling her that it not true. She still refused to even try the UHC card. We did give our prescription cards which I new was wrong. She them came back & said the policy only allowed flu shot in a Dr's office. I again said she should be using the UHC card still refused. Left & drove to the Walgreens Pharmacy at Silverbell & Grant, a block away where we usually go every year for flu shots Walked in. They were very fast, asked for our medical cards took the UHC cards with no problem. Both got our flu shots 1/4 the time of just trying to tell the person at this one that she needed to use the UHC card. This particular staff person seems incompetent & intentionally slow."
"Ive been a longtime patron of this location, so it says alot that id be giving them only 3 stars...they have come thru and helped me time and again so they will always have my loyalty. That said, about half the staff (the male Pharm Tech in particular) must be underpaid & overworked, based on the attitudes I encounter every so often. Theres no room for familiarity or friendliness. Like, REALLY--dawg, you seen me how many times now? And u ackin like I'm brand new like its a bother for u to DO UR JOB?? I get it--its a busy location--maybe something only corporate could fix. "You can only throw so many buckets at the fiee"...so to speak."
