"I’ve been going to Mekong for the past two years, but today March/16/2024 was my first time entering this establishment. I noticed their lights were open and they had candies on the left wall, so I invited my mom to join me inside. I mention the lights being open because the last time I saw this place, the lights inside were off. We were just looking at what they had to offer, when all of a sudden the lady working behind the counter said, “can I help you!?”. I was the only one to look at her, and I noticed she looked irritated. I said we were just looking and she kept that same expression. I brushed it off, thinking it was just her way of saying it. The door opened again and two customers came in. They were both tourists and they also took a look at the different flavors of jerky. Not two minutes passed when we suddenly heard the lady shout: “OK, THIS IS TOO MUCH! FIRST THE BOY (referring to me and my mom) CAME IN, THEN YOU CAME IN (the tourists), NOW HE WANTS TO COME IN! (referring to a man and his child about to enter the store) I ALREADY PUT IT UP![unintelligible]” We assumed she meant a closed sign, but we all went out and were dumbfounded to see not a single sign that indicated that the store was “closed”. It was so confusing to the all of us that the tourists jokingly said “wow, that’s a first, now we hate Arizona”. That was also the first time we’ve experienced a rude store owner/employee. I’ve never been compelled to leave a review for a store before, but I’m incredibly infuriated. That genuinely ruined my day. As I took the picture seen here she closed the lights and she’s using her phone in the dark behind the counter."

"Got here at 5:10pm on a Wednesday and they were closed. No hours posted anywhere. Got here around 1:00pm on a Friday and they were open. The lady there was helpful in getting what I needed. I haven't tried the jerky I bought yet, but it's about $38/lb."

"Literally chased us out of the store because she thought we were waiting for Boba. Had shopped here before, never again! Too rude and she raised the prices by over 50% on items I previously purchased."

"Really awesome jerky and really nice staff!!! They have a bunch of different kinds of jerky that are all really good and they have plenty of other snacks too! They have lots of dried fruit for instance which I’m looking forward to trying, also the jerky is a great price for the quality, really glad I found this place!! In the picture is their regular curry jerky which has an amazing flavor I recommend it highly!!!"
