"Work a VERY busy schedule, prefer to book my cuts in advance but the guy I normally book with changed his schedule... Saw this place on the way home the other day... Called this place a day in advance to confirm that I could come in after work for a cut on the following day... Dude ("Manuel") says no problem... I push through rush hour traffic (EXHAUSTED after a hard day at work) to get to his run-down/trashy shop, he's got one guy in the chair, one in the lobby & one waitin outside in the car... I walk in, he tells me I have TWO people in front of me & it's gonna be a 2 hour wait... Changes his mind & says 1-1/2 hour wait... Fine... I wait it out, he finishes dude in the chair, calls in the dude who was outside waiting in the car... Finishes him up, calls up the dude who was waiting in the lobby... I continue to wait as other people wander in (speaking in Spanish)... He tells em they have people in front of them & I pay CLOSE attention to their faces (mind you, these people got here AFTER me/well after I had already been waiting for over an hour)... He finishes up the guy in the lobby, then I start to make my way to the chair... Yup, it's definitely my turn now... Then he opens the door, motions for one of the people who came AFTER me to come back in & then he tells me that I now have ANOTHER person in front of me... I tell him "he came in after me", then he says "he was waiting around the corner"... What an idiot... I tip WELL & he would have made quite the nice tip assuming he did a good job, but instead he just missed out on what would have been one of his best clients. Then again, people who have no clue about how to run/maintain a successful business really don't see the value of making a good first impression anyway. Too bad for him. I give this trashy shop a year at best. Save your money/time & look elsewhere. Plenty of other options where you can actually get the cut you planned to get instead of being disrespected & ultimately having two hours of your time wasted by someone who knows nothing about how to treat prospective new clients/customers."
