"I liked the shop. Was nice and cool when I walked in. Some of the other reviews about this place are WRONG. They DO take walk-ins and they DO speak English. The gentleman who cut my hair and the gentleman working in the chair next to me were very nice guys. They greeted me right away and engaged me in the barbershop small talk. So why only 3 stars? Here it comes: I showed the gentleman a couple of pictures of how i wanted my hair cut and i even explained (in barber jargon) that i wanted a drop fade that goes into a v in the back. Only instead of a fade i wanted a taper, (a taper does not go bald at the bottom) i said "if a taper and a fade had a baby" i just wanted the taper to go super short at the bottom. I was faced away from the mirror and the minute i felt the bald shaver hit the side by my ear, i knew that maybe he didnt get what i told him. I just went with it, whatever it will grow back. Then he hit it with the straight razor which is fine i guess because im already bald at the bottom right? Here's the funny part. I had sone stray random hairs left right by the top creases of my ears. And on the right side of my hair where it begins to fade is uneven and choppy. My hair is a blondish color and not super thick so i didnt necessarily need lines shaved up. I also feel like maybe we should have talked more about what i wanted while the cut was taking place or maybe i should have asked to face the mirror. Usually i cut my own hair and i know a thing or 2 about it. But listen Linda, he didnt do a bad job. I just think if I were one of his homeboys he would have taken a little more time on it and communicated a little better. I would have easily given this place 5 stars had i liked the cut i got better. Sorry bro, that's your review, the good news is that your skills will get even better over time. You talk a good game though but I wont be taking you to the Paul Mitchell hair olympics this year. I will however return to the shop but next time, I'd like your buddy to the right to give it a shot. Thanks boys, all in all it was a good time."
