"There is a absolutely no excuse for giving out expired foods. Especially when kids are going to eat the food. There’s been items given out that have expired up to years ago. You should have the same standards for others that you hold for yourself at the very least. Because someone is desperately hungry and willing to eat garbage doesn’t mean it’s not a problem giving it to them. Handing out in any way shape or form expired food (shelved or perishable) is very unacceptable."
"They were there in my time of need when I was struggling the most i got food, shoes and pants! Brought home food to my family so thank you guys who work hard and all you do. ❤️"
"very disappointed with the receiving of donated items, unknown if person who was there was a staff member of not; the place was completely disorganized, items left on ground so could be ruined by the storms; did not get to visit inside. may I make a suggestion that your get the rolling baskets to place donated items in? (from where I come from they use rolling carts or baskets for the donation and roll them into receiving to be sorted and not left out side on the ground), also the employee has a badge or name tag and shirt to identify them ), have been donating and store for many years and loved the service and the employees thank you Elizabeth"
"we were there while on holiday, and found some very useful items in excellent condition and at a very good price. It happened to be a 50%-off day, so I couldn't help giving the 50% back to the charity. You do a great job! Thank you Laura!"
"Good items in great condition and at awesome prices. Bought a very nice 3 piece set(couch, love seat and recliner/rocker) that could have easily been sold for $600-$700, but I only paid $200. Seems they are actually in the business of helping people out as opposed to just taking their money. Even threw in a free lamp just because I asked! Definitely will be coming back!"
