"I go every week to the water store. And have for the past 5 years. The signs posted in the store and outside say 60 cents a gallon. I get 2 3 gal jugs filled up every week. When this one guy is there an older dude with white hair he always charges me for an extra gal. Why? It’s should be 3.60 for both jugs. He charges 4.20 and there is no tax in nevada and I pay cash. So what’s the deal? Love the water but why the extra charge when he is the only one who does that?"
"After driving to Henderson and finding out that the Sunset Water Store was closed, I searched for alkaline water online and was directed to this store. Well I like to support our local businesses and was prepared to buy several bottles and some alkaline water, I was told by the store guy that alkaline water had a short shelf life (which I knew) and was told I could buy a pitcher and make it myself for 15 cents a gallon. I was disappointed and told the guy I didn’t care how much it was and didn’t want to make it myself. Just when I was about to purchase the bottles alone to fill up later, he told me to go shop somewhere else and walked away. I will NEVER set foot in that store ever."
"First time we went there we bought two jugs to hold the water. Within a couple of weeks one of the plastic containers started leaking. Hubby took it back and the man said that’s not our bottle! Good thing the bottom of the jug had his name on it! He replaced it but his attitude has got to go"
"Max who runs the store is such a sweetheart! So helpful, filling carrying & carting heavy water bottles to my car. Great product too, is heads over local public utility water! Tastes great and much less expensive in the long run."
"Went to the water store to get water on Saturday at 2:45. The employee told me it’s not fair to come in just before closing and told me not to come at that time again. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Telling a customer not to come to your store during business hours!?? Why even be open if your not going to serve your customers. We also had some floaters in 25 gallons of water we bought last time and I showed it to him. He said it must have been our bottles. We paid the water store to clean our water jugs last time. All he said was he paid 3500$ for new filters. We dumped out all 25 gallons of water. BOULDER IS A SMALL TOWN!"
