"We went on a Monday afternoon and the food was great. The server was very slow even though they were not busy. My wife got a tea and wasn't even offered a refill. We definitely will go again. Hopefully we will get another server. I recommend the lunch steak fajitas!! 5 stars."

"Wait staff today was very attentive and friendly. We had just come from canyon lake and were ready for happy hour. Ordered chimi, quesidilla, and tacos. All came prepared perfectly and seasoned superbly. Nice choice after a sweaty day. Addendum--third time patron. Ordered the on the border sampler. Quesidillas, nachos, ect. Delicious. Friendly staff joking and making us feel right at home."

"place is DIRTY. sat for almost 10 minutes without a server. No smile, enthusiasm at all when he finally came over. Food was meh. None of it was hot, just warm. Portions were tiny. Hubby said his enchiladas looked like frozen. Beef in taco was decent. I'd say one step up from taco bell. Once food was delivered server never checked on us. We put credit card on table and he finally grabbed. It. Asked if we are rewards members but never offered any info. Still took another 5 minutes to get it back Not a single employee looked like they wanted to be there. The chips are BOMB though. Always have been. We won't be back"

"Mexican restaurants that actually make their own tortillas always get high marks from me and this place does. I had those tortillas wrapped around the Dos XX fish tacos served with rice and beans and it was really, really good. Fish was battered nicely and was crispy and flavorful. My adult supervisor (aka my wife) had a shrimp bowl with absolutely perfectly prepared shrimp along with rice, cilantro rice, and black beans. I also had a house margarita which was quite tasty but didn't have a big kick. A good experience with good food and service in a clean, friendly place. With homemade tortillas. What's not to like?"
