"I know we cant help the homeless, but there are alot here. Its dirty outside. Cleaner on the inside."
"This place sucks. They never allow anybody to use the bathroom I have read other reviews saying the same thing. It seems like because of the homeless however, even any customers are not allowed."
"Walked in to this place at 8 am to use the restroom after I purchased gas. They blocked the entrance of the restroom with products. I asked if I could use the restroom and the woman who could barely speak English acted like she couldn't hear me when I was speaking to her. So asked her again and she would only say "NO" . This place is trash . I wont go to circle K anymore. I'll drive another 10 miles to a QT. Updated review. Came in on 12/17/23 Same situation all the restrooms are closed and as well gas. One of the only gas stations in downtown Phoenix so I have to leave the area to drive to a Quicktrip. Phoenix needs a QuickTrip I'm DT PHX."
"Former employee here. This location is the worst. At any given point in time, there are at least 7-10 homeless junkies on the property harassing people for money, drinking on site, smoking fentanyl right in front of the door if not smoking in the bathroom and passed out in the bathroom floor damn near ODing. The employees do absolutely nothing to change it. They do not care at all other than when they come into the store. The only thing the employees at this location do is not allow the homeless in the store, which that alone is illegal but that's if the person working even cares. The homeless steal constantly from the store and it's incredibly difficult for the store to keep track of them all. So what do they do? They tell each and every homeless person that comes in "you're not allowed in here", regardless. I hope some of these people file a lawsuit for discrimination. They also have employees who steal from the store but Maria the store manager does nothing about it. She'll call them out or gossip amongst other employees about it but won't do anything about the employees stealing. One employee in particular, his name is Carlos, not only steals scratcher tickets, but allows the homeless too as well. Guess what? Carlos still works there. The day shift and night shift both, depending on who's working, will allow the homeless to come in and clean the store for something to eat. On a moral ground, sure why not. Sounds like a decent human thing to do. On a business ground, that employee is making a non employee do the job they are paid to do while the homeless person doing the job for circle k is getting paid in food. THAT IS ILLEGAL. And is happening on a consistent basis there depending on who's working. I ended up quitting the job. I quit because of this. I was asked to clean outside, fine and dandy no prob easy stuff. 30 mins prior to me being asked to clean, I was told to remove a homeless person from inside of the store. I asked the man to leave and he flips out on me telling me he's never stolen anything at all (which is probably true) Fine. That's expected. Due to Maria not allowing homeless people in the store. I then go outside to clean and the same homeless person is still there but on the left side of the property in the rocks. I then tell the man he needs to leave the property. As I'm approaching the man, he's sitting there smoking fentanyl off of some aluminum foil. I tell the man he needs to leave the property or the police will be called. What does he do? Gets up and tries to blow the smoke in my face. I quit right then and there. This location is a joke and everybody there needs to be fired and replaced ASAP. . I wouldn't go here at all as a customer nor would I EVER recommend anybody to work at this location."
"03/2022 VIOLENT SECURITY Causes Death. I spoke with an employee at this location who indicated she does not feel safe with the security guards. Everyone realizes there's a homeless problem at this location, but it doesn't mean the security guard is allowed to beat somebody to death, especially when they're running away from you after being asked to leave. 10/2022 EXPIRED FOOD. BEWARE! I've seen this happen too many times here to remain silent. Expired sandwiches, cookies and pastries. Ever since they put that so called "kitchen" in, this Circle K location doesn't seem to care as much about properly rotating their food."
