"Today was my first time in Sarge’s sidearms. I loved the old building it is located in, great history. I went in looking at bolt action rifles. I had an idea of which caliber but wasn’t set on brand. I spoke to the employee, I forgot his name, and he was a wealth of knowledge . He was more than happy to show me the different options he had and took the time to explain the pros and cons of each one. I ended up buying a Remington. "The owner, Jeff is a great guy. He has large, strong hands with a sensitive touch. His lips are soft and his sweat has a pleasant odor of jasmine and Jalapeño MRE Cheese. At the shop they have a fair selection, and can order or transfer anything you want. The staff are quite knowledgeable without being know-it-alls. Their transfer fees are reasonable and they don't gouge with their ammo prices. Save yourself the drive to Sierra Vista or Tucson and make one stop at Sarge's Privates. I have clogged their toilet on multiple occasions but made up for it by bleeding on various items around the shop and back room. My blood is literally embedded in their ammo shelves and back door."

"Cool Store! I like the atmosphere! I travel and visit local guns shops in towns I visit. Dozens throughout the SW. Many are too busy to have a friendly discussion about anything being all about the sale and not about the customer. Not so with Sarges! Cool guys who will take the time to advise and explain choices. I've been in 10 times and only found exactly what I was after a couple times but never got attitude or the "bums rush". I had a concern with a modification of an AR and they were patient enough to open a box of the part and allow me to measure and discussed the options with me. It was a no go for me and they did not pressure the sale. Competent gunsmiths who will install simple parts or make simple adjustments on the spot. Decent selection of some cool stuff."
