"Had a great first experience with Heather. Super sweet and explained well how the dazzle nail polish worked! Will definitely be back"
"I booked a $129 facial service and they ended up doing a *different* facial service that was $40 more expensive, not including gratuity, and the price difference was not disclosed to me. I did not know this until afterwards when I went to pay. Pricing transparency would have been nice especially since it was my first time there. Definitely seemed like they were trying to push me to get a subscription and come back for more services too which was not appreciated. Nothing wrong with the quality of the service I received but because of the price transparency issue, I will not be back."
"Last week I called to make a mani/ pedi appointment. I explained to the woman scheduling my appointment that I Might bring in my own dazzle dry polish or other polish, in case they didn't have a color I wanted to use. I explained that if I ended up using there dazzle dry polish, I would upgrade to the dazzle dry manicure. The receptionist stated that was no problem. Later that day, they called me back to inform me that I would be up-charged to the higher manicure price if I brought my own dazzle dry polish. I said, "So if I brought my own Chanel or whatever brand polish, would you still up-charge me?" She stated, "no, just for dazzle dry," which made no sense to me. I thought that was unprofessional to call me and recant what you originally said. I was so turned off that I cancelled the appointment that day, but I guess they didn't cancel it in their system. They called me back today to tell me I had an appointment. When I said that I did not have an appointment because I cancelled last week after they told me they were going to upcharge me, they had the nerve to say, "who did you speak with?" as if they didn't believe me! The correct and professional thing they should have done would be to say something along the lines of, "I know we told you that you could bring your own polish, so we will allow you to this time, at the price point you signed up for, but Next time we will have to up-charge you to the dazzle dry manicure if you bring your own." If they said this, I wouldn't have cancelled my appointment and I wouldn't be writing this negative review. For reference, I have been there once before for a mani and a massage. The massage was ok; the good thing was the massage therapist did not talk through the massage. The nail tech was fairly new and she told me that the manicure I had using spa ritual nail polish "would last 2 weeks." It didn't even last a day! In fact, I called them the next day and they were good about saying, I could come in and get it fixed at no charge. I didn't accept the offer but it was the right thing for them to try to make it right. Too bad they couldn't make it right this time and they lost a customer and a potential member! I also got a gift certificate in the past there for someone's birthday and she later confided that although the place was pretty, the massage was not that great. I agree that the services do not match the price point which recently significantly increased."
"Nice lounge waiting area. I'm not a local but had a few hours left before heading to the airport. Summer is the best massage therapist. I would have signed up for a membership if I lived here. Definitely will come back when I'm visiting Phoenix area next time!"
