"This was my first visit. Maybe last. I was charged almost $6 for a little sleeve of garlic. She charged me for a pound but when I weighed it at home, it was only half a pound. Rip off. I bought a half gallon of menudo. It was more than half broth. The rest was corn. There wasn't enough meat to populate one bowl. I lost money there too. I didn't get salsa with my to-go dry burritos. Someone told me later they had a salsa bar but nobody told me I had to get my own and none were included. They weren't enjoyable without the extra moisture of salsa. My son didn't even finish his burrito. I spent a good chunk of money and am very unhappy. Should have gone to my regular place."
"just ordered for delivery, and I received no ice & straw with my Horchata, no salsa with my quesadilla and no spoon for my beans. I ordered for my lunch at work and there’s a whole bunch of missing extremely disappointed at how careless the workers are to not include anything who eat a plain quesadilla with no salsa, how am I supposed to eat eat eat my beans with my hands, how am I supposed to drink my Horchata with no ice and no straw. Very disappointed. I didn’t even get napkins."
"This place is amazing, amazing, amazing! On a Monday morning I needed great tortillas for tonight's dinner. Typically I don't mind driving far even with these gas prices if the carniceria is worth it, but I was only planning on getting tortillas. So I looked up places near me and read reviews. Turns out this place is literally around the corner from me & it had 4.9 star rating. Walked out with way more than tortillas. This WILL be my corner butcher. It's an immaculate store and you can see they are so proud of their store. They are happy to give you samples (which is why I had to keep buying everything... so damn good!) This is the best of the best and I'm thrilled with the location. But honestly if this is a bit far for you, I promise you it's worth the time and gas!"
